We visit Clarksville a lot and actually travel there to grocery shop and see my Dr once a month. It's a great town with something to do for everyone. Lots of tourist attractions, restaurants, stores and a small mall.

We like the town alright …we have friends there and enjoy time with them. However, I made the mistake of thinking that if we paid a bit more for a Comfort Suites Hotel, it would be nicer than the Red Roof we had visited the year before…WRONG!!! The Red Roof Inn was a much better experience. Why in the world would Comfort Suites put a bed right next to a window with NO CURTAIN, when there are Stalag 17 style security lights right outside the window???!!? It was High Noon in the room all night long. I’d ve asked to be moved, but we got in late, we’re leaving early, and had a lot of stuff we didn’t want left in the car.

Cute city not far from Nashville, right near the base, if your kids love the military like ours! Great variety of food choices! The people are interesting. Try to stay off Wilma Rudolph it won’t happen but just plan an extra 30 minutes to get to your destination

I only knew about Fort Campbell, famous for being the home of the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division (Band of Brothers Fame). I'm a military retiree so I like to tour different military installations. Fort Campbell's Post Exchange is one of, if not THE, largest in the system. I wanted to shop there. :) The area has a few of its own unique attractions but it's also 30 minutes from Nashville, which offers a plethora of other attractions.

Clarksville is a "military" town, being close to Fort Campbell. Its main thruway is Wilma Rudolph Blvd., it can get pretty congested at times. There is lots of places to eat and shop. It's not far from Nashville. There are winery's and distilleries that you can tour.

Too much traffic. Plenty of shopping.
Too much traffic. Plenty of shopping. Wide variety of restaurants. El Paso Mexican restaurant had great food. Rafferty's is very good. Longhorn steak house is very good.
Was there for a funeral. I would not vacation in Clarksville not much to do except shop.
I love Microtel Inn & Suites, Clarksville, TN. They gave me the best service, especially i meet with Ryan, the front desk management. He is very Nice & Polite. We got the best service & if I were be owner, I would give him the Best Employee Award. Here, we stayed for two nights & he always tried to ensure the best service from them.
Thanks Ryan.
You are a man with the best heart
The staff was very friendly & professional. Excellent customer service. Helped us to get into a pet friendly hotel right next door. Very accommodating.
Close to restaurants. Clean, friendly atmosphere. Most of all, it was very safe to leave our stuff on the back of the vehicle cargo carrier with no worries.
Highly recommended.
We were passing through Tennessee and was thrilled that this hotel was so nice. Location was perfect just off the highway! Rooms were clean, not to expensive and the nice breakfast was included. The man at the desk was very friendly and made us feel welcome. I would stop here again.
The location off the highway was very convenient. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast in the morning was delicious with lots of options! The rooms were spacious as well, and I liked that they were pet friendly.
I liked the dove shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and body wash that comes in pump bottles in the shower and on the sink in the bathroom. Very clean. Lots of pillows. Staff was very friendly. It’s a nice hotel.
Very noisy as freeway was a block away. I wouldn't pay more than $75. Instead of the $100+ I paid. But I think it's about what you would expect at a lower end hotel. The best thing was pets stay free!
I don’t like the breakfast at this hotel at all. Myself and my daughter and her kids usually stay at this hotel every memorial weekend for our family reunion and I don’t like the breakfast at all.
No breakfast and the room was dirty like the floors were not clean at all and not enough towels for two people and the ad said free breakfast and that was not true at all
This stay was amazing! The staff was very helpful and sweet! The decor was beautiful all throughout the hotel. The cleanness was great! I would definitely be back..
We tried to check in this pet friendly hotel and they would not let us stay with our small dog. We also did not get a refund even though they said we would.
We didn't get to check in. The hotel had a power outage which prevented the staff from completing our check in. We ended up having to go to another hotel.
