A few days before, we stayed at the Motel 6 in Albuquerque, which was a dismal dump (you can probably find our review somewhere around.)
Staying here restored our faith in the Motel 6 brand!

Breakfast was good but they apparently cannot keep up restocking the item that apparently go first such as sausage, bacon, hash browns , biscuits and biscuits and gravy.

They had a waffle maker and laundry. At this stage of our trip the laundry room was great. It was also on the edge of town closest to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Nation Parks.

I love the river next to the park and my family enjoys the beach area every time we visit. On my last visit I was expecting to ride the boat that tours the river but it was not available, I hope it's available time, but Carlsbad its a beautiful town.

Carlsbad Caverns is one of the greatest of the national parks. No way will you leave disappointed. Schedule your tickets as early in the day as possible to avoid crowds. Some fine restaurants in the city - we ate at the Trinity, excellent food & drink!!

A fantastic cavern.
A fantastic cavern. It has all of the drama of detail you would expect but this is a very large cave. Alot enough time to go through it. The cavern is mostly accessible by wheelchair, although there is signage to tell folks when it is not. One of the best caves I have been to in terms of the geologic formations as well as the displays that have been arranged. Restrooms are below grade as well as in the visitor center.
This hotel was the absolute nicest chain hotel we have ever stayed in. We use these types of hotels for our National Parks trips and this Home2Suites was amazingly clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The gym was brand spanking new! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious! The staff were always available and so helpful. Even the hallways and stairways smelled new and clean. Truly, I cannot say enough how pleased we were to make this our home base for exploring Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks!
It’s new, modern. There was ample parking. The lobby area was inviting, plenty of comfortable seating, and very clean. It’s easy to get to, close to restaurants, and conveniently close to Carlsbad National Park (25 miles). The king room was nicely decorated with a seating area. All staff we encountered we very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was decent - the normal eggs, meat, potatoes, waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, etc. The outdoor pool area was not open at the time of our visit.
We loved our stay at this hotel. The location is on the main drag so food options are minutes away. Being a brand new hotel, it is exceptionally clean and everything feels fresh and new. Comfy bed with lovely bedding. Staff were attentive and friendly. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was that it had an outdoor pool, which was awesome. My boyfriend also enjoyed using the workout room. Overall, we would 100% book this hotel again if we were to come back to Carlsbad.
Location is in older Carlsbad but an excellent new motor hotel. And very good restaurants within walking distance. Exceptional clean, new furnishings and large room. Excellent bedding and bath towels. Decent breakfast to go (breakfast burrito) and other pickup items.
Highly recommend. Price is a bonus compared to major chain hotels in area
Great location. Close to Carlsbad Caverns. IIHOP, Subway sandwiches, Walmart within walking distance.
Comfortable mattress, comforter an pillows.
Staff was super helpful.
This hotel is pretty much as close as can be to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadeloupe Mountains National Park. The room had a full refrigerator and full cooking facilities.
Great and clean recently renovated hotel. Loved the microwave and fridge in the room and even though we didn’t try the pool it looked very inviting and clean!
This hotel was not exceptionally expensive. It was located near to some restaurants. The staff were friendly enough. About 30 minutes from the National park.
