Massive snow storm so we didn’t do much.
Massive snow storm so we didn’t do much. Couldn’t sleep due to the loud teenagers in the hallway running around all night. No towels
At the pool. When we went back to the pool in the morning our key card wouldn’t open it. Then once we got in the loud group of teenagers were causing chaos in the pool room so I had to take my 7 year old out

Burlington is a charming little town with a small city vibe. I have family history there so we spent time seeing areas of family interest as well as interesting sights around town. Also very close to Canada for an easy quick trip to Montreal.

Walked to University mall and ate at Applebee's.
Walked to University mall and ate at Applebee's. The food was good and service satisfactory. The mall had several known stores. Dorset Street was very noisy with cars and motorcycles during the night.
The only redeeming quality of the Anchorage Inn was its proximity to the airport.
Would never consider staying there again and am seeking a refund.

Beautiful town, nice shopping and dining
Beautiful town, nice shopping and dining
When colleges have special events it’s impossible to get a dining reservation at the best spots
The contrast between the pricey flair and the ubiquitous homelessness is stunning.
Homeless people are at every corner, in front of churches, at the town park ( wondering if they built a brand new fountain so that they can wash up) many stoned and drunk out of their minds

Burlington is welcoming, diverse, and eclectic.
Burlington is welcoming, diverse, and eclectic. The city is colorful and easy together around with multiple choices for transportation from bikes, walking, bus, taxi, or Lyft. Parking in municipal garages make avoiding street parking easier. During busy times, I recommend not using your car, if you are unfamiliar to Burlington. We were there to take the City Brew Tour as Vermont has more breweries per capita than other states. The meeting spot for th Brew Tour was by the Ben & Jerry's ice cream shop that was constantly busy.
Airline cancelled my flight and I needed a hotel by the airport. La Quinta S Burlington was the perfect location being just 1 mile from terminal, and the aid of a free shuttle at ANY hour to and from airport made it that much easier. Rooms, overall hotel and staff were clean and friendly. Both Frank and Shannette helped me with my multiple questions and Shannette offered great suggestions for the riverfront area which is a $10 Lyft/Uber away. Thank you Shannette!
I really enjoyed staying here. It was a quiet and an attractive neighbourhood. It was an easy 20 minute walk to downtown. The nearby City Market Onion River supermarket was terrific - great for supplies and ready meals to reheat. The apartment is cosy and comfortable. It was very clean. Excellent shower. Would recommend.
The room was spacious and comfortable with all the required amenities. Bed was comfortable. Staff helpful and easy to access and use the laundry facilities. Breakfasts were good. Hotel had a lovely atmosphere. We had to rely on public transport so it was great having the bus stop into town right outside the hotel.
clean room, comfortable bed, soundproof room and quiet floor (top floor)- the atrium gave the hotel a really clean feel, it’s easy to walk downtown from the doubletree without having to deal with downtown traffic- really enjoyed the stay here, front desk was great!!
Excellent location by mall with easy access to highway or very short drive to downtown Burlington. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was basic but adequate (there is an IHOP across the street). There is a small indoor pool, good for little kids, that I did not use.
The place was very eclectic and amazingly clean. The grounds were beautiful and relaxing and it was an easy walk to the center of quaint Burlington. The staff (Shea) was pleasant and helpful and breakfast was perfect. Large selection of small delicious foods.
It's clean, comfortable and fun (movie star memorabilia) We were there in the off season and did not get a chance to catch a movie. But how great it would be to see a flick. It's a little off the beaten path, but a 10 minute ride to downtown Burlington.
This hotel was very comfortable, not downtown but 10 minutes away by car (free parking available). The room was very comfortable and had a good size. Breakfast was very good. There is a restaurant next to the hotel which was very good and convenient.
Location. Directly at the lake. Short walk to the waterfront and restaurants there as well as in Burlington. Seems to house a lot of small conventions and gatherings. Air conditioning and temperature was good.
The hotel was correct and there was a pool and gym which is nice. Basically, there is all you can ask and the staff is very kind, this is plus and always good to have.
