WE went to Falls Branch to hike and see the waterfall. Amazing! We went to the Blue Coyote for karoke and we all had a great time. We ate at Mystic Pizza, the Blue Coyote and Chester Brunnenmeyer. The food was great everywhere we ate. Getting around Blue Ridge was very easy. The next time we would avoid coming in March. It was very cold!

I loved the ability to walk all over the town without having to get into the car every time. Not completely family friendly for an active 5 year old if not for the train and some other options outside of town.

As far as North Georgia towns go, Blue Ridge has everything you need. Even though it was very busy on Saturday we didn't really have an issue getting a meal or getting waited on in retail establishments. Sooo much to do, you need to spend a few days there to really soak it all in.

Just some info to help out in choosing your accommodations.

Just some info to help out in choosing your accommodations. The main (upper floor) has 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. We traveled with family that were unable to climb steps, etc so this worked out fine. The third bedroom isn't accessible from the main level you have to go out & walk down the steps to the play room, third bedroom (with bunkbeds) and bathroom. The attached playroom has a kitchen so this level is good if you are traveling with people but still want some separation from others (like teenagers or another family). The main/upper floor has the hot tub on the deck. The owners were prompt in responding to any question and even reached out to make sure that we were able to get in with no problems (we were).

Blue Ridge is a fun place to visit with lots of interesting shopping and dining options along the main street. The surrounding environs are absolutely beautiful and full of outdoor attractions. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Especially recommend Southern Charm which offers wonderful southern comfort food in a very pleasant atmosphere. Cantaberry Cafe is great for creative soups and salads and Yellophant seems to be THE place for breakfast. Plus the Sweet Shoppe bakery has delicious desserts of all kinds. Also recommend the Silk Road Traveler shop for an eclectic collection of books and gifts.

Nice area. The train ride was nice but not a lot to see.

Nice area. The train ride was nice but not a lot to see. Would probably have enjoyed it more in the fall when the leaves change colors. Parking in downtown is difficult and mostly paid parking lots which were usually full.

This was not a B&B so we brought our own food. The kitchen facilities were quite adequate for us. This is a very homey place with lots of nice amenities - like a fountain on the screened-in porch which has a swing. There were K-cups for the Keurig, plus tea, sweeteners, popcorn, bars, and candy. The towels were thick and like new. There were stacks of paperbacks to read. There were 5 game boards. Lots of homemade quilts give it a real cozy feel. But the area of Blue Ridge is a real winner. We loved it!!

The house is absolutely beautiful and the views are amazing. My husband and I stayed here for a week and wish we could've stayed longer. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The house was super clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect, so close to downtown Blue Ridge and shopping, but still felt like we were secluded in the mountains. Owners were super fast to respond to messages/ questions. We would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful place to stay. The home and property are beautiful and so peaceful. The dock overlooking the water was a peaceful place to have morning coffee and the hot tub a great place to end the day. Only 10 minutes to McCaysville and Copperhill, 20 minutes to Blue Ridge. Would definitely stay here again.

It was close to Blue Ridge but it felt like you were away in the mountains. We loved all the trees and wildlife viewed from the screened porch. The layout of the house was great and the furnishings were comfortable and fitting for a lake house. Inside the property was exceptionally clean which we really appreciated.
