The UofM campus is fabulous and has great energy.
The UofM campus is fabulous and has great energy. Plus there are great restaurants and thinks to do and see on and around campus. Angelo's and Zingermans are two favorites for eating. I liked most of the staff very much. The girl in the morning was rude. The lady at night was awesome. The cleaning lady couldn't wait for me to leave literally. It was 10:30 I was putting stuff in my car and she just went it and began cleaning. My time to leave was 11 not 10:30. Very disappointed won't be staying there again. To expensive for such rudeness.

We are big U of M football fans.
We are big U of M football fans. We went down for the opening weekend game. Fun city with lots of excited fans. Plenty of parking spots to choose from. Many restaurants and shops. We went to the game on Saturday then went back to the campus Sunday to walk around. The M Den is a fun place to shop. Also the hotel is pretty close to Univ of Michigan and Eastern Michigan Univ. I did not expect to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room so that was a nice surprise. The air worked very well. The pillows and bed were very comfortable. The TV was easy to connect our Firestick. I appreciate that they offered a continental breakfast (cereal, oatmeal, muffins and fruit)… and the coffee was excellent! And the Trader Joe’s was right next door!

We were easily able to walk to our dinner and brunch locations, as well as a movie theatre and a great bar for drinks. The space is also beautiful, bright, and bigger than we expected for the cost per night. I imagine the balcony off the bedroom would also be perfect for morning coffee when it's a bit warmer out.
