Сool little town with friendly people, different restaurants and cafes, big and small shops, great food market, marina and promenade by the sea. I recommend for a couple of days, also to visit the thermal springs in the mountains once. Get to Yalova by ferry from Istanbul in 1.5 hours. It seemed like a good place to be.. there was cheap transport wid variety of places to eat.. the Mrs was pleased with the shops and tbe kids were pleased with the entertainment available.. the city appeared to be a safe place for families and children. The rooms were lovely all newly fitted and clean, beautiful spacious rooms, the staff were also very helpful and friendly. The hotel has its own cafe attached at the ground floor that serves great international breakfast, definitely something different from the usual options available in the town. The canal walkway is well lit at night, with families walking along it then too. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, there is something for everyone, and it provides a good start to the day! There are many grocery stores and restaurants along the same road as Hotel Beksiti, which is definitely convenient. All the staff are very nice and helpful.

General manager Mr.Rauf is very helpfull and try to help about all your problems or questions. This is not a luxry hotel but allows very comfortable stay. All the food and alcoholic drink in the hotel very affortable and you do not have to go out to have a better view and drink something, hotel gives all opportunities.

On the street Istanbul you can find some small fish shop that is also fish restaurant. Very cheap and crazy tasty! It is somewere in the end of the Istanbul street, on the lef side. Enjoy!)
