Luna Begonvil Tas Evler, hotel in Selimiye

Located in Selimiye Village, Luna Begonvil offers 2 outdoor pools surrounded by a green garden and authentic rooms in stone built houses.

Firstly, the location is excellent as it’s a short flat 5min walk to the waterfront but set back up a side street so very quiet. Has a car park. Then you walk into the gates into a little slice of paradise. Immaculately maintained and beautifully designed. Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily by the cheerful ladies employed. Comfortable bed, aircon, good shower and a place to lay out toiletries (important). Fridge in room. Two pools which are beautiful and if you order some beers they are brought in an ice bucket :) Probably the highlight of the day is the magnificent high quality breakfast which has a few different things each day and is utterly delicious. And at 5pm tea and cake is served poolside. The whole place is peaceful and relaxing. The property is well managed by the owners who are present and on top of everything and they have a happy team of staff!

Wonderful staff and owner who go out of their way to make you feel good. I wouldn't call it a hotel but your own private house with friendly people around you. Extensive Breakfast and served especially for you. Children are very welcome and views with the large clean swimming pool are the highlight. I would like to thank them again for this wonderful experience.

Losta Sahil Evi 2, hotel in Selimiye

Situated on the seafront of Selimiye Village in Marmaris, Losta Sahil Evi 2 offers a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols, a charming courtyard and free Wi-Fi in all areas.

This charming hotel is one of the most relaxing and delightful places I have ever stayed. The town is geared up for Turkish tourists, not for Northern Europeans. So menus are not always available in English and hotel and restaurant staff do not all speak English. Food in most places is local Turkish, although you can find burgers and Pizzas if you really want to. And the local food is delicious! Lovely seafood and fabulous meze. The house is right on the seafront. Super helpful staff. But this is not a flash, soul-less five star. It is a quirky, individual place to stay, as if you are in someone's home. The place is spotlessly clean but some of the fittings, such as taps, are not super modern. Breakfast was superb. Eggs cooked to order alongside freshly baked Turkish bread and a different pastry every day. Plus a simple but delicious salad with cheese, olives, honey and conserves. I am going to miss this so much! Hotel restaurant was excellent - we ate there every other night so that we could compare with other places in walking distance. The setting was a delight, sitting right next to the sea as you dine! Tea and fantastic cakes arriving at your sunbed at 4pm was a very welcome bonus! After the first day or two we cut down the amount we ate at lunch to make room for tea. Room was very comfortable with lots of hot water when you needed it in the bathroom. Comfortable bed, lots of pillows and extra bedding in the cupboard. Bug screens on all the doors and windows kept out insects. The aircon was very efficient but we only used it on one night. Stunning view from our room out across the harbour, was wonderful to wake up to. Before going, I had wondered about how I would feel with people wondering about on the towpath behind the sunbeds. I need not have worried! You are far enough away not to be bothered. And at sunset the staff remove the sunbeds and put the tables out on the pontoon for dinner.

Gala Selimiye, hotel in Selimiye

Featuring a balcony with mountain views, an infinity pool and a garden, Gala Selimiye can be found in Selimiye, close to Selimiye Beach and 43 km from Karacan Point Center.

I don't know where to start. The hotel owners, Mr. Ozan and his mother, are wonderful people. This of course also applies to the guys who work there. Friendly, fast, helpful, quality. I was always asked if they could help me in any way. I could go on and on about the quality and service. The Turkish breakfast served is great and there is plenty of everything. The rooms are clean and have a great view. Don’t hesitate about this hotel and every cent will be worth it.

Nice little town has essentials like a pharmacy and mini markets. Lots of choice of places to eat. Lots of fantastic Turkish food. Delice is great fun - spectacular meze and a local hippie vibe. Sardunya was smart but not too expensive, wonderful seafood. Yamac was also excellent with slightly different Turkish food.

I strongly recommend a boat trip in this area! The beaches are all rock from what I saw, and pretty small on the edges of restaurants, so it was nice to get away from that and visit all the little coves in a private boat (much more affordable if you're with a group than what it seems). The town area is really cute, but parking is difficult. Yummy restaurants, but menus are only in Turkish so make sure to have google translate on your phone if you need it.

A lovely and beautiful harbour town, with plenty of restaurants and lovely sunbathing/ swimming opportunities. Relaxed vibe with mainly Turkish tourists, so feels very authentic. Visited a few other towns along the peninsula and this was by far the best. Pure bliss.

This hotel was a little oasis of calm in the most beautiful setting. The rooms were small but perfectly formed and comfortable. The pool area was so lovely and the view was really special. The breakfasts each morning were fabulous with a range of delicious dishes and lovely strong coffee. The hotel serves tea at five at the pool with a tasty treat and the food in the evening was as good as we tasted in all our travels. The staff in this hotel are so kind and looked after us with care. We loved our time in this special little family run hotel.

People were nice but instead being a butique hotel, its like pansion. The manager (Peri) tries to fix issues but it does not work well. The restaurant they have is good but for the value its expensive. The beach they have is nice but I needed to carry my drinks by my self at the first date. The following day thay have helped for the service. The chef waiter (Burhan) does not have communication so I didnt like him so much. I have restaurants and he can not even work for me for a day.

The view was extremely nice from the room and breakfast area/ restaurant, however the room itself was not ideal - small bed, low seiling, not many useful furniture or decorations inside. Breakfast itself was standard and tasty - only issue was that it starts a bit late (8.30 only). There’s a big demand for this area and not many hotels hence prices are high, as you spend most of the time outside of the hotel, it might make sense to go for something cheaper.

It was a wonderful stay. Highly recommend to others looking for a place in Selimiye. Great property right by the beach, it’s a boutique hotel with a few rooms so you get great facilities to yourself. I loved being able to get from my room to the beach in 2 mins. Great view from the balcony also a plus. Food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. Good variety of breakfast dishes and very fresh seafood. I will come again

The hotel has a great location and view which makes you to start your day perfectly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and kind. We were very happy staying there. Next time will definitely plan to stay longer since 2 days is not enough in Selimiye. Ps: it takes only 4-5 mins drive to the port. Recommend to try fish restaurants on the shore.

Hosted by a hospitable, helpful and lovely family. They served us fresh fruits, lemons from their garden. Thanks to the spacious garden, our stay was very peaceful. The room was comfortable. The proximity to the Selimiye beach is 3minutes by walking. You can also spend your day in a private bay located 4km outside of Selimiye.

But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the genuine kindness and remarkable hospitality. Can’t wait to be back. Thank you Onur and Nisreen!

The location is great, has the most wonderful view. The house is ideal for a family or a group of close friends. You just need to buy groceries, everything else is there for your needs. The host is very kind, friendly and has the best tips for day trips. We would have liked to stay longer if we had the chance.

I stayed at Gala Selimiye with my partner. The breakfast was fantastic and really enjoyed Nesrin's homemade jams. The view from the room was amazing and was great to have a bath in the room. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool side :) would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting the area.

Fantastic boutique hotel, with probably the best infinity pool I have ever seen! Great staff, which goes the extra mile (e.g. drive you to the shop for buying goggles). The room is nicely decorated, with eye for detail. The property has a cosy little restaurant with some nice tunes playing.
