Nice little town on the Swedish east coast with a charming old town atmosphere (Gamla Norr and Gamla Öster), an inviting archipelego and enough shops, bars and restaurants in the city or by the shore to satisfy most people. ABBA Björn’s Slottsholmen project has added an extra international Mamma Mia flair with its gourmet restaurant and boutique hotel suites, followed by a floating hotel and a new Spa come this Spring. Shared bathroom, key left in the door for you upon arrival, no reception to be found after 15 o'clock. But the experience, in these small fishermen cottages and area is just extraordinary! Highly recommend it for both couples and families. My children and I felt like we stepped straight into an Astrid Lindgren novel and I could see the romantic scene it was for the couples staying at the time. Book it and hope for good weather!

When we came into our room, we found two bowls for food and water for our dog including a small package of lovely dog cookies - always warms a dog mum’s heart! :) The hotel offered Rituals sole, shower gel and even conditioner - BIG PLUS! Loved that!
