There is a play room and a big common area. Here you are also allowed to use the dishes for your own dinner. They offer also fridge and freezer, so you can also refresh your cooling box for the next trip. It was also nice to get in contact to other guests and kids enjoied it.
It is run by a very friendly old couple.
Across the street would be a nice lake at a camping site. (At the moment there was no access because camping site is closed)

Beautiful surroundings! Really, BEAUTIFUL. The place has so big potential, but you can feel it's not fulfilled because of so many things that could be better. Maybe it's the best for school camps, but for people renting it as hotel rooms - not so much.
The place is situated next to the Kinda Canal and we've seen you can rent the kayaks or other swimming equipment. On the premises there is a football field, a playground, an outside grill with sitting places, a sandless beach, a "beach" made of a huge rock, with a little pier next to it and a lot of beautiful grassy areas, maintained by lawnmower robots.
The premise is 3 minutes away from Rimforsa center, where you can park for free and stroll through this little idyllic town.
The hotel was located in the forest area near a beautiful lake where you could go swimming. There are nice hiking paths including one path with a boat (free) where you need to tow yourself across, which the kids really enjoyed. The place was close enough to Vimmerby so we could easily make a daytrip to the Astrid Lindgren world.
The hotel was easy to find and very welcoming. It's great to have an accommodation in Kisa.
We were greatly surprised of the little grocery-shop inside the entrance with the shared-reception. The bathroom in our room was completely new renovated and looked very up to date.
