Maison L'Horizon, hotel in De Quincey Village

Offering pool views, Maison L'Horizon is an accommodation set in De Quincey Village, 3.4 km from Victoria Clock Tower and 5 km from Seychelles National Botanical Gardens.

Our host, Didier, was so friendly and accommodating. He made sure our every need was catered for and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and spacious! The view was spectacular!! We enjoyed relaxing by the apartment as well, being able to lay in the sun and make use of the pool. We even had little tortoise friends on the property, which was an added bonus! Didier's brother Jonathan was very friendly and knowledgeable, as he took us around the island for a tour. What a pleasure! Had the best day! Our stay was amazing and I'll never forget my time there!

Exceptional view, beautiful swimming pool, warm hospitality, and the host going out of his way to make everyone feel at home. It is easy to arrange diving, snorkeling, hiking in Anse Major, visit to the Island of Moyenne, visit to Takamaka the rum distillery, botanical garden etc.

The village is very densely populated with the locals.

The village is very densely populated with the locals. One might say: great for the local ambience. True, if you like walking past hips of rubbish, up and down a steep hill in 32 degrees heat. Far away from the centre or any attractions. Apparently, there was a bus stop near by, but this type of travel not for the faint hearted. We rented a car, yet, the position of the chalet and the village is too far from nice beaches. Unnecessary travel to/from place of interest can be a chore if you wish to relax and enjoy your holidays. Next door traveller planned to be in Seychelles for 1 month - in such case staying in De Quincey might be justified. Yet, it is not cheap and lacks in hygiene.
