Georgiana and her mother were excellent hosts. Just from the moment I arrived at their place they offered me a free dinner. The location is about 1 km from the center of the village on a hill, no noise, no cars, only 3 friendly dogs and 2 cats. A very large yard, with trees and green grass, a small lake with some fish, hammock and a patio. Georgiana is very friendly end she enjoys speaking and entertaining the guests. She told me a lot of things about Rosia Montana and the life in the community . In the morning she offered me a good breakfast and milk from her cows. I encourage everyone to spend a few days in this magnificent place.

Superb location. Nice gazebo outside, protected from the wind and with a fantastic view of the sunset. Nice cabin experience of making a fire in the ceramic stove to heat up the place, walking up a hill to access it. Proximity to a pond that appeared to be for koi fish breeding.

The surrounding nature is absolutely breathtaking. You should hike Piatra Corbului, there are plenty of very good guides who could take you there. If you go around this time of the year (end of June), you'll get to eat blueberries on the hike. For a longer hike, you should plan a whole day to see Detunata. you won't regret it. See also the meteorological station, it's a great place to see the panorama of the community and some of the surrounding villages. You might even get to eat some fraises des bois if you et there at the end of June.
