A wonderful spot in traditional Alentejo, splendid food and wine, quiet and relaxing place to stay for a couple of days. Top was to stay in Bética Rural Hotel and have "secretos de porco preto" in ADRO restaurant for dinner, and also the wine from "Margaça".LuisaPortugal

It was a cold rainy day during our stay and the gentleman there offered up his jackets, pants and even socks to help keep us warm. As well as an umbrella. The rooms were a good size with a private balcony overlooking the tiny town of Pias.LynnPortugal

The staff member in the evening was friendly and helpful. The restaurant across the road was superb. We were able to swim at the nearby praia fluvial. There are waymarked walks from the hotel.

Pias is an amazing place to stay at, with amazing beautifull hikes nearby trough the Montado forests. I'll be sure to visit again..
