Super place - Bruno and Peggy are friendly and helpful owners, the village is quiet and peaceful and beautiful. The property itself is great - a brilliantly well stocked kitchen, a really good washing machine (soooo nice to come home with some clean clothes!), free parking, a roof terrace, really it had everything we could need for a few days' stay.

Excellent breakfast. Outdoor pool area that gets plenty of sun. Small indoor pool if its raining (out of season). Close to the sea front and restaurants where you can sample the local fish and iberian black pork.

We love Alcoutim and have stayed at this lovely hotel many times now. The room we chose has a fabulous view of the pool and the river across to Spain. The breakfast is very good value for money with plenty to choose from. The staff are efficient and helpful. We arrived early and the usual friendly man on reception (should know his name) checked us in early. Easy 10 minute walk into town. Would definitely recommend. It’s a lovely little town and hotel.
