We love Alcoutim and have stayed at this lovely hotel many times now. The room we chose has a fabulous view of the pool and the river across to Spain. The breakfast is very good value for money with plenty to choose from. The staff are efficient and helpful. We arrived early and the usual friendly man on reception (should know his name) checked us in early. Easy 10 minute walk into town. Would definitely recommend. It’s a lovely little town and hotel.

Wonderful accommodation. We stayed in room 15 which had amazing bathroom and views over the river and town. Very clean and had everything we needed. Maria was a great host. Breakfast was perfect for price. Will visit again we are sure.

Picked ths spot by the Guadiana whilst motorcycling in Spain and Portugal. Mertola is one of the few crossing points. It was quite hard to find in steep little streets but easy safe parking and a lovely view out over the river. It was a very comfy room in a private house
