The Hostel is really, really nice and very big. So except for the Kitchen that obviously has to be shared, there’s a lot of room for everyone to also have some privacy. The room in the attic is very comfortable and big as well with its own modern bathroom and tv with access to all streaming platforms (if you have an account of course). The house was cleaned frequently and the host is so so nice! We had some issues with our room lock (self made problem - don’t lock the door from the inside when you’re leaving as my boyfriend did 😂) and they were very quick with helping us over the phone and the issue could be resolved within minutes! We went there in January and stayed there 3 nights. Very pleasant stay! Thank you!

Besides the beauty of this house we also loved the location. It was exciting and very easy to travel to the city center by ferry. It is all very well organized with access to metro and trains, the ferry running every 15 min. We would definitely stay here again.
PS Don’t miss the Syrian Restaurant (Damasqino) down the road, excellent food and lovely people!

The apartment definitely has a zen like quality about it.
Some really nice touches, such as the wine and the biscuits were greatly received.
Communication with the owner was good no issues there.
The views from the apartment just heavenly.
Peaceful.and tranquil wonderful start and end to each day looking out onto the ocean.
The balcony was an unexpected treat able to get more sun as it was a lovely sun trap and also watch the birds.
A really positive experience all in all.

We were officially visiting Lisbon, but chose Almada as our pied-a-terre due to its proximity and connectedness. We did buy a Lisboa pass which we understood would connect us from the Fertagus station on the Almada side to our place but it did not although the busses are run by the same company. That was the only unfortunate surprise we had. We explored Almada, Sintra and Lisboa during our three day stay and had a great time! This place comes highly
recommended.

I could not find fault with anything.
I could not find fault with anything. Staff were friendly and very kind. Food was freshly prepared and good variation also very tasty. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard and all communal rooms the same high standard. Bathroom was spotless. In general we would recommend to anyone and will be staying there again next visit.

The area around the hotel (Mercure Almada) is mostly residential with the court house down the block. It was very safe to walk around and there are plenty of places to eat along with quite a few stores/businesses. The metro is very easy to use and the bus stops in front of hotel. I was able to explore the area and go to Lisbon with ease.

I think it is worth visiting Almada, I di not have enough time to see all I wanted. 1 days stay. It is of course quite different to North side Lisbon. You really have to be prepared to walk up hill and down dale.

Almada is a very nice place to stay.
Almada is a very nice place to stay. It is easy to get around Almada centre and the tourist places. To get to Lisbon is quite easy too. The ferry is so convenient, cheap and not far away from where I am staying.
I really enjoyed Almada.

The Cacilhas Apartments were located very close to the Tram stops, which made it easy to go to my work-related meetings, and were very close to the Ferry docks, which took me to Lisbon in 10 minutes. I had the best of both worlds. They are located in a pedestrian walk that is full of restaurants.
The appartement was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything you need is available. The breakfast is fantastic. The rain shower is lovely after spending a day in the hot city. The host is very helpful and information is presented in a nice brochure. The small terrace is pleasant for breakfast or a drink in the evening. With the lift and ferry you can easily visit Lisbon. In Almada you also have a nice restaurant Lagoa Azul. It is a few minutes from the appartement.
Ideally placed to visit Lisbon, but there are too many things to see and we didn’t have enough time. We’ll have to come back 😄 But another time of the year, mid summer is not great, too hot and too many people. We’ll try it in winter 😁
The apartment is beautiful, clean, good bed, air conditioning. The street is full of nice restaurants, but we liked the owners one best. Pam and Daniel are great people, communication was smooth, very welcoming.
Highly recommended!
Easy to access to downtown Lisbon, it is conveniently located with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby in a safe neighbourhood. Very cozy apartment with all utensils that our family need and the swing chairs in the balcony under gorgeous sunset view creates special memory for our trip! Super large TV! Value for money and definitely would recommend friends for their future visits.
It is reasonably close to Lisbon center: tram + ferry will take 30-60 min depending on the time of day and your luck.
Alamada itself is also interesting town and one can also take a quick bus (15-30 min ride) to the ocean
Very quiet, very clean. If you have 3 couples then you can rent out the whole guest house and have complete privacy!
Excellent hospitality and the host Simon is a very nice guy. He offered tips and suggestions so we can visit the places with ease. You can take a ferry to Lisbon and it’s just 10 minutes, Property is clean and close to the water front. Breakfast was yummy 😋 and the welcome drink was a nice surprise.Thank you Simon!!!
The best hotel of my journey to Portugal! Excellent location - in several minutes by ferry from Lisboa center. Amazing host who kindly met us and explained everything about public transport, shops etc. We parked the car just in the street near the house, for free. The patio was extremely nice. I recommend ❤
Kumar was incredibly helpful and friendly. He helped me find things to do (since I booked last minute) and was always available to help. I rented a car, but most days I just used the ferry to cross the river and get into the city. It's a great budget option for visiting Lisbon.
Location was in the centre of the main route through Almada, which gave good access to local shops.
Parking can be a little tricky, but there is a paid car park close by.
Flat felt you were visiting friends, suited me perfectly, and was exceptionally clean.
Great amenities offered: very clean space and contact with owners was excellent.
We weee only there for one night but now knowing our way around Almada a bit better would definitely recommend!
it was @ great location as we arrived late in evening hungry and tired . Had good options for dinner just under our hotel . very convenient location and neat and comfortable stay
Good value. Clean room. Andre at reception was very helpful with recommendations on how to get to and around the city. We took the Ferry to Lisboa which was a great experience.
Simply the best place ever if you want to visit Lisbon but sleep and relax in a quiet area. 8min boat ferry and you're in the city center. I'm coming here next time, no doubt.
the great location with a view of Lisbon and its impressive river bridge, a large room with a terrace and lockable cupboard, the entire infrastructure (but only functional)
Wow! Such style. Such charm. Such comfort and fun. Kat runs a terrific boutique hotel in Almada. This hotel is a project of love, it having taken a decade to restore.
