It felt very homely, like staying with distant relatives who you don't speak the same language as. Everyone was so nice and also the dogs were very funny. Felt very private to be in the cabin on the other end of the property. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. This place is a treasure. Challenging to find and have to meet the owner late in the afternoon or evening, but it simply one of the beautiful places we have ever stayed. High Villa Aka Barbies dream house, really was just that- a dream! The property was gorgeous with comfy beds, beautifully decorated, 2 huge kitchens, great bbq facilities , great Wi-Fi and a big pool! Joao was so lovely and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating.
