Had an amazing stay at Kon Tiki . Had previously read comments so knew to take face cloths and ear plugs. Although a nightclub next door and a roof top bar could not hear any noise .Staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful with booking taxis . They all had reasonable English which was fantastic as we didn’t speak any french. Stayed in a studio with two single beds and a pull out couch all very comfortable and the most amazing shower. Was very central to shops and restaurants and across the road from the ferry terminal.

The property is a reasonable walk from main shopping area but doable. Supermarket very close and also a Total Service station with Bon Jour shop & coffee. Transfer from port to hotel and then hotel to airport were efficiently arranged.

Lovely continental breakfast that kept us going for most of the day. Fruit, fresh bread, pastry, jams, cheese team and coffee. Breakfast was self serve on the deck.
The B&B is casual, stylish and very comfortable with a lovely outdoor area for dining or relaxing. Walking distance to town and restaurants etc.

The French influence in Tahiti is everywhere and I loved it. Food is amazing, I had great meals out and the Carrefour supermarkets are better stocked than my local supermarkets here in the UK. I just liked the vibe. There are lots of places to eat and drink, decent shopping to be had and I liked the people. The port where you can catch boats to other islands is in town too!

I loved the fresh pastries - especially the bread sticks I found finding a place in town was better for us, as the cost for taxi's was very pricey. Little to do in the city aside from shopping. That all stops on Sundays entirely, and largely disappears on Saturday afternoons too. Public transport is almost impossible, not helped by the website or the tourism office. There are no beaches walkable from the city centre, so you're left needing to find a tour, a public bus (not on sundays though), or renting a car/scooter.NeilNew Zealand - 6.0Scored 6.0

The apartment was excellent, very comfortable, very clean, well equipped and had everything I needed for my stay. The internet worked wonderfully. Some people wrote in past reviews that the hill was really steep. I did not find this at all. All I can say is that those people must have been really unfit! I would definitely stay here again. It had everything we needed, was tastefully furnished, well appointed and so close to restaurants, the supermarket and an easy walk into the main part of town. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive and for a small fee even drove us to the airport for our late night flight. Best of all the apartment was exceptional value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

The best service for staying here is that you get ride to airport or ferry terminal any time and you don't have to stress out for availability of taxi at odd hours. We had an early morning flight and host gave us a ride (for a fee), that was very useful. Room was big with comfortable bed. Bathroom was very spacious with updated fixtures. Fridge and microwave were useful.

We were relieved and grateful to be able to order beer and wine and pizza at the hotel restaurant. The pizza was surprisingly good and better than the ones we had in Moorea and Bora Bora. It's the crust! :) The complimentary airport and ferry transfers were definitely a draw for us to book there.
