Had drinks and was supposed to be mid-afternoon snacks at the bar - the food servings were enormous so didn't have dinner :)

The bed was comfortable
Our reception was friendly and understanding as we were a little late in arriving after experiencing a puncture and having to travel to have it patched.
We were given directions and suggestions for places to eat.
Thank you

Great location next to Highlands. the apartment was so roomy, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. The stairs were very shallow and easy to use. The lovely sunney courtyard was a great place for us to catch up with friends in the late afternoon.

Staff and room were fine although could have used a double bed in the lounge area rather than a large Queen which took up too much space

Very secluded getaway location pretty much designed specifically for wine makers because there wineries for Africa there, but the town lacks in offering much else as a reason to go there unless you’re into tramping (the surrounding areas are tailor made for it) - very little tourist attractions offered in the township compared to nearby Wanaka which punches well above its weight.

Great for wine tasting, especially also at Bannockburn, Lowburn and Northburn. Particularly recommended a booking at Felton Road. Waterpark adds a new dimension. Walking and cycling. It can be windy and also grey in winter.

It had been 12 years since we last visited Cromwell.
It had been 12 years since we last visited Cromwell. Not surprisingly it had grown and changed significantly - and for the better. The town has a pleasant ambience about it and the people appear very relaxed. Everything one wants is there and there is a comprehensive range of retail and hospitality. We liked our trip so much that we shall be returning for a more thorough look around.

It is a friendly, well-kept town with fabulous scenery.
It is a friendly, well-kept town with fabulous scenery. Very close to Arrowtown and Queenstown without the traffic hassles (especially of Qtown). It has a reasonable number of shops, enough restaurants and pubs. we didn't have kids but there seemed to be plenty of places for them to run around and play. it felt safe and inviting.

Great accommodation that was not expensive but very homely...
Great accommodation that was not expensive but very homely and a central location to see and visit the rest of Central Otago. Dined at the Town and Country Club , Carrick Winery, barbequed at our unit.
Pisa Moorings was fantastic location in a quiet subdision (away from busy roads) on the lakeside. The breakfasts were amazing and the hosts were aware of my gluten free needs and provided delicious alternatives. We enjoyed chatting with the friendly hosts and the other guests (there are 2 bnb rooms) at breakfast served in the dining room overlooking the lake. We also appreciated the welcome snack basket which included gf. Location handy to Cromwell and not too far from Wanaka and Arrowtown.
Modern and cozy hostel located 7 min driving from Cromwell to Wanaka. The common areas are big, Kitchen is full equipped , showers and toilets where clean. We stayed on the 6 girl bunk bed and the room is big. Luckily me and my friend were the only ones for the night. The night was really cold but the place is warm and they have extra blankets for those that need. Overall it was a good place to stay the night. My fav part is George the dog! such a lovely Labrador ready to cuddle.
Clean, comfortable, spacious room with beautiful views of the snowy topped mountains over a small inlet from Lake Dunston
Close to the main road but couldn't hear any road noise at all.
Great bathroom with open shower - awesome unit for disabled access
TV in good position and wifi was good too
Loved that it was only a few mins drive out of Cromwell , so not in the midst of the busyness but close enough for eateries and also not far from Queenstown or Wanaka
New facility. Everything was new. Communal kitchen facilities was exceptional. It had everything - pots, pans, plates, cutlery, complimentary salt and pepper. Even had dishwashers you can use. I was very impressed. Rooms had state of the art temperature control and sensor lighting (for bathroom). Little kitchenette in the room was well stocked. Will definitely revisit if we ever come through Cromwell again.
The owners were friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellent. Being by a small sheltered arm of the lake was an added bonus for bird watching and paddle boarding. Kayaks were also available. A BBQ area was available. A spa and small pool were available. Bike and walking tracks were nearby. Close to Cromwell for many restaurant choices when not using the BBQ.
The staff were lovely and so welcoming after our long journey. The rooms were warm and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated, but was clean and I understand it was going to be renovated soon. I highly recommend the Colonial Manor Motel for your stay in Cromwell.
Warm, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. In walking distance to three very good restaurants.
Te Kano Estate Cellar Door is a must visit. The Black Rabbit Restaurant (Next Door) was outstanding, as was the Bannockburn Hotel, and further afield, Armando's.
The Colonial Manor Motel was the perfect place for a quiet and spotlessly clean overnight stay. Cheryl, the owner, was very friendly and offered several options for local wine tastings and food. We would definitely return here the next time we're in Cromwell!
Extremely comfortable well appointed unit. The views at any time of day were exceptional. Our host Fran welcomed us and checked that we had all wee needed for our stay. She was keen to provide information about the neighborhood as well as Cromwell itself.
The hotel is sitting in the surroundings of mountains, and we saw the pink morning clouds. The parking is convenient. The room has a balcony overlooking the lagoon. It’s nice they offer warm breakfast with plenty of selections, though a bit pricey.
Outstanding accommodation that exceeded my expectations. I was met at the gate to ensure I could find the key. Spotless room and Netflix was a bonus. Will definitely consider again when I'm next in Cromwell.
Loved the options for multiple beds. The spacious and well-stocked kitchen. Great location near a park and indoor pool. Very updated and helpful staff. Amazing place to stay in Cromwell!
