Welcoming, hospitable and friendly owners, Sita and Deepak did everything to make me feel at home and make sure I had a great time.
Room: The private room was super comfortable, had AC and was equiped with modern amenities.
The location is super quiet, I rarely slept that good!
Food: Amazing freshly cooked nepali recipes from nearby producers. The included breakfast is amazing! Try the banana pancakes!!
Things to do: get a tour of the village and learn about the local people, the ethnic groups and their traditions. Safari walk to spot the local one horned rhinoceros. Swim at a nearby waterfall to refresh yourself! Cooking classes to learn how to make local dishes like Dal Baht and Momos.
This was one in a lifetime experience and I will surely remember it!

We stayed in the lodge as a belated birthday present for my boyfriend and the staff went above and beyond. They baked and decorated him a cake and even brought out the elephants so he could feed them fruit and elephant sandwiches. This place will be a special place in my heart because as a double surprise, my boyfriend actually proposed to me on the first night during the elephant sundowners and it was incredible. We had the place to ourselves and Sam our tour guide looked after us so well and helped create magical memories.
The food is amazing and tastes so lovely and all the staff are very friendly and polite. They let us stay late in their main hub to use their Wi-Fi to call back home to tell them our engagement news until the late hours.
My fiancée particularly liked the hammocks and chilling by the pool to top off the stay.

This one possibly the nicest overall experience we have ever had. We have travelled around the world and the level of service and attention to detail was amazing!! We felt so welcomed and the room and grounds were beautiful. The food was delicious, hats off to the chef!! Also being away from the primary entry to the park we had a great safari experience, even waking up to rhino across the river from our bungalow deck. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay!
