The night in the small wagon was very nice and the "fireplace" has a certain charm. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The small farm with several animals and the possibility to go to the jacuzzi and or sauna is great. You can book rental equipment for a snowshoe hike directly on site. Parking is free of charge.
Note that there is no supermarket or restaurant nearby. So you are tied to the accommodation's catering on site. This is very good, but the costs add up!

If you come to Senja, you must stay here! The room is very cozy, comfortable and clean, well-equipped and very warm. There is a parking space, which is very convenient. The owner responded promptly and the instructions were very clear. In the yard is a very good location to watch and photograph the aurora. We were very lucky to catch the aurora explosion, which was very shocking. It is very cold at night in winter, and you can go back to the house to warm up immediately after watching the aurora. The view is very good, and the scenery on the other side of the window is also very good. It takes ten minutes to walk to the seaside. It is a quiet and comfortable town. It takes about half an hour to drive to Hasten/Segla and hike, and about 50 minutes to the viewing point along the way to Senja Island, but the scenery on the road is very good and the location is very convenient.

Everything was arranged so perfectly! The contact was super great, the same as the location and the house itself. You have everything here that you have at home!
We felt very comfortable and relaxed in this environment, we were staying here with our baby (15months old) and she liked it a lot!!
By car it is only a 1-hour drive from Tromsø, but you will drive past beautiful places and views that you will never forget!
On our road trips we have seen eagles, reindeer and even a group of moose (very rare).
I highly recommend renting a car 4x4 with studded wheels for the roads when they are icy and full of snow. You need grip to drive on these roads, as they are not in great condition on the way to and from Tromsø.
The location is also in a very dark part of the fjords with almost no light pollution, so if there is any chance of Northern Lights this is the place to go!
(also possible to see 10000 stars and flying meteors when the sky is clear).

This is a lovely, tranquil and remote location you can easily fall in love with. The clear water and the sea are directly in front of the terasse and in the back you can sea the snow covered mountains. I think this is worth a note, because you can not really see this from the photos provided online. The host is very kind and helped us with a some tips for grocery shopping during easter holidays and aurora viewing spots.
