Great location on the harbour. Plenty of restaurants nearby which proved useful as food is not available in the evening.
Able to check in prior to arrival so just picked up card key at reception.
Room was comfortable with everything required. Very quiet at night, could not hear anything.

Booked last minute and arrived late so had to call the number at reception. Only had to wait a few minutes to be met by the host. Keys are in lock boxes with codes provided if booked in advance.
The room was very well laid out with a large kitchen, huge bathroom and two good sized bedrooms.
Patio doors led out onto a terrace with view over the fjord. Unfortuntaly it was dark when I arrived and when I left so didn't get any good photos.
The location is very quiet and the bed was very comfortable and I had an excellent nights sleep.

This place is absolutely perfect. Away from everyone, on the coast, quiet, clean air and water. Close enough to the village where you can buy anything you need. Hosts are lovely. I really wish we get to visit again.

Svanøy is called "The pearl of Sunnfjord" and rightly so. A lush island with a long and varied history. Early industry is in the past, but modernity is present with a deer farm for research, as well as a place for smoking salmon and fish farming. Roads are very narrow and few, but bicycle renting is possible, a nice way to see the island. There are also a lot of footpaths to further explore the place. Vegetation is very diverse and hosts species seldom seen in the area. There is a shop for groceries and a pub to visit with a nice selection of beer crafted nearby in Florø, as well as food based on deer and salmon. Go find out!
