The location was nice. I has a room over looking the harbour. The room was clean and big. Coffee and fruit available to guests all day. Restaurant was nice, with great food and friendly staff. Room has AC unit, controlled by guests. Nice. Nice breakfast. Five minute walk to town. All in all, I’d stay again.

This is a Bed and Breakfast establishment, so we had little expectations in the way of facilities. The building, itself, is a stunning piece of vernacular building. It is set in an agricultural setting, approximately 100 metres away from the main dyke which keeps the Eems river at bay. It was a perfect central location for visiting the many, and beautiful, Romanesque churches in the area.
The bedrooms are large and functional. Breakfast was served in the room. There is no choice. It is a typical Dutch family breakfast. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. There are cats, Alpacas, a horse and a tame crow for company.
