Great view from the front rooms. Right on the beach and close to the Fisherman’s village where there is nice food and you can organise boat taxies at a reasonable price.
Nice place to sit downstairs near the beach.
Great snorkeling close by with heaps of nemos.

You can pay by credit card. They will add 10% surcharge but some places, water taxis, the dive shop didn’t take card so this really helped me. Cheapest restaurant is Cosy next door or Abdul. If you’re diving go to Cosmic divers down the beach. When you arrive books lunch or dinner next door at Beachbox it’s the best. All restaurants take card.

I really wish we would stayed longer.
I really wish we would stayed longer. It is a paradise island. Clear and clean water, good sandy beach. Marine life is amazing and as for the snorkelling, I think it was one of the best I have ever had

We fell in love with the Perhentians.
We fell in love with the Perhentians. It was far better than we imagined. Long Beach was quiet during the day but had an atmosphere at night. Locals were friendly and welcoming. Fantastic snorkelling.

Perhentian Islands have beautiful beaches with rocky out crops secluded bays and great snorkling. Super relaxed atmosphere, lots of yummy places to eat and drink and very friendly people. If you haven't got the energy to hike over the enormous hills to the other side of the Island you can always find a water taxi close by which are pretty cheap. Probably would try and avoid the Islands in June and July if you don't like crowds and also try and avoid the little jelly fish that are around certain times of the year which can make you super itchy!!!

Perhentian is truly one of the best island here.
Perhentian is truly one of the best island here. Its not luxe but it is a gem. The water is beautiful and the sea life is abundant. You can see hundred of fishes just from the jetty alone. Diving is great but take into account the weather. Food takes a lot longer as its just the island way so you'll need to account for that if you're planning your meal. Respect the culture and ppl and they will do the same. The cheap accommodation options are reflective of the price you pay.

It is an amazing place!
It is an amazing place! The water is beautiful and there are lot’s of great beaches on both islands. You most try snorkeling in some areas. You can rent mask and snorkle everywhere on the islands, and even go for a boat tour that takes you to the best spots. You can also hire a taxi boat to go to any beaches, or travel between the 2 main islands in 10-15 rides. We saw some poeple bring their own alcohol and water on the island, as it is always cheaper to bring your own. Sun block protection is very expensive on the island. Bring your own!Marc-AlainCanada

In front chalet can snorkeling as the water as cleared as glass, you can enjoy the scenery with fish and coral. Near perkampungan nelayan and can have lunch and dinner at there with reasonable price. On the 2nd day only we aware we stay nearby the Perkampungan Nelayan 😅😅 can just take the snorkelling package from the chalet as the price same with other place. Someone helped us carry our luggage and even upgraded our room for free. The room was very clean and tidy. The sea in front of the door is particularly beautiful, surrounded by bars and restaurants. The front desk of the hotel provides snorkeling, which is very cost-effective. There are 6 places , and the experience is particularly good. This kind of service and price are particularly suitable.
