The sporting lodge and hotel is very clean and personel friendly .....................................................................
BUT A 16% CHARGE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD BILL is unacceptable! And with the tip added AFTER the 16% charge was also very poor form.
Be aware and ask the hotel before you book what the Extra Charges will be!
It was the first place we stayed in town and It was very unfortunate and sad to latterly be told by the other Punta Allen hoteliers, restauranteurs and barmen we were massively overcharged– 5% is the norm !
We thought we had had such a great experience at Casa Pascale until the 16% bill surplus plus tip on top experience was revealed as rudely excessive!
After Punta Allen we saw Pascale in Puerto Morelos but descided not to speak about the 16% charge especially when she was supposedly in Oaxaca.

Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico.
Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico. Not many tourists not many places like restaurants or shops. Its full of sargaso and at the moment properties cant deal with it and many of them are on the beach. But you can have nice excursions to see dolphins at the nature ,we took the fishers boat and went to see dolphins and turtles do some snorkel,kids loved it! If you are seeking an unique experience in a very special accomodation directly at the beach, being kissed good morning by the sun while still in bed and joying Anita for a morning coffee at the beach watching the sun rise - we recommend this place. Be aware that there is not 24/7 electricity and sometimes there are problems with the wifi-connection (whole town). However, the charms and relaxed way of people living in Punta Allen totally help to forget about everything and just enjoy the beautiful nature.

After falling ill with a stomach bug on the second night of our stay and experiencing multiple episodes of vomiting, their efforts were truly appreciated. We made sure to leave an extra tip as a token of our gratitude. Thank you to the cleaners - you are the true heroes of this hotel!
TanyaCanada - From £360.30 per night8.5Scored 8.5Very goodRated very good· 189 reviewswe never got to the property, because what booking doesn’t tell you is that it’s impossible to get there by normal car. you need to either get a 4x4 for the drive (and even then it takes 3.5 hours to drive the bumpy pot-holed road that leaves from Tulum) or schedule a boat which isn’t cheap and takes 2 hours. the hotel is not responsive and even when texting them in Spanish they provided automated Google translate answers that made no sense.

A few minute walk to the pueblo of Punta Allen that we were quite enchanted by, especially outside the hours (10am - 3pm) when groups of tourists from Tulum come on tours. Sian Ka'an is a beautiful and quiet place to visit and stay for a few days or longer. Good service at Cielo y Selva. Great day trip organized through them. Good "in the house" artesanal beer.

Very nice, far away from civilization and yet everything is available. We loved our stay at Villa Roseliz. David and Sonja were very helpful, friendly and attetive! The prepared nice breakfast and you are at the beach direclty. We loved the reading in the hammock with the view of the turquise waters of the Carribean sea. Casa Pascale is mostly for sport fishermen but we weren't and enjoyed our time there. It's impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable. There was a good shower. There are beautiful wall paintings of various fish. It's a place with character.
