Beautiful vibe for a walk, recommend taking a tour with sightseeing bus (we were with Spanish speaking family member so we took the original old bus which has the excursion in Spanish only, it’s an open roof bus and it was fun). Very neat downtown with a lot of museums and history. Also puebla has one of the best food traditions in mexico. to go from one place to another in downtown is easy by foot, going to further locations we've used uber, which was reliable and not so expensive.

Stand out places were the excellent Museo Amparo with fabulous roof terrace cafe, Ex-convento Santa Rosa (including the museum of Popular Art) and the Casa-Museo Alfanique.
