Beach and bars very close to beach - quite a strong current in the sea not far out so need to be confident swimmer .
Food at breakfast and dinner very good with lots of restaurant choice .

I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great...
I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great although we didn't use it. We stayed for 3 nights and that was enough for us to break the city routine of our everyday life. Krishna from the concierge organised a fun day out to Chamarelle where we saw the 7 sand earth, giant turtles and the magnificent waterfall. The area is quite simple but with a local character. If you are looking for an authentic experience you will like it. We mostly cooked ourselves in the apartment and had dinner twice in a nearby cafe/restaurant. The facilities were simple but the fish dishes exceeded our expectations. For the Family: My kids had an amazing time in the Activity centre with Kursley and Kingsley playing football ,volleyball and other sports. Bamboo fishing was also another activity which my kids enjoyed a lot. Staff were friendly and very professional. For the Adults: Great selection of restaurants & bars and activities. Bel Ombre is very beautiful, there are a lot of activities you can do there. It is also very close to Le Morne (20 minutes by car), where you can do hiking on the mountain, windsurfing, dolphin watching, or just enjoy the beautiful beach.

The staff were very helpful although rather slow but always happy to help. The rooms were nice but could definitely do with some updating. The family rooms were not on the ground floor which was very disappointing. We were hoping to be able to open the doors and let the kids play which we were not able to do. The food in the restaurants was lovely although a little limited. The beach and pool areas were beautiful and great for families. The kids club definitely could do with updating. Again staff were lovely but activities are very limited.

our stay at Heritage was excellent. I went there to spend time with my daughter and Grandchildren, who currently live in Switzerland we had the best family Quality Time. Aveli Restaurant is Great for Mauritian ambience Kids liked their time at Ti Mo Mo.

It is huge and has amazing facilities, a private beach, multiple pools, a game room and gym and a lot of other thoughtful touches - like the transit room. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Melana from the front desk went out of her way to help us. We told her that we needed cash, and the ATM that we had been to did not work. So she allowed us to take cash from the hotel, and she added that to our room tab, which we could pay by card. Everyone seemed to care and made us feel special:)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Before our stay I was able to book the restaurants and the SPA. Big thank you to Avinash, the SPA manager, and Raj for managing our reservations. The food and drinks very very good. We were very unlucky with the weather unfortunately as it rained most of our stay, however the hotel made our stay unforgettable. I am sure we will be back one day.
