Stopped here for one night on our way down to the Sahara on motorbikes. Set right in the Ziz valley and easy to find although a gravel driveway down to the hotel.
Free parking right outside but the gravel is quite deep in places for heavy motorcycles.
The owner was lovely and stayed up until 3am for one of our party who arrived late.
A good traditional dinner can be had at the Kasbah for about 100 dirhams each.
Room was comfortable (narrow stairs to get up to it) and breakfast ample.

The locations is perfect to stop from Merzouga to Fes or the other way round. It is very peaceful and the view to the gorge is amazing! The couple running the accommodation is very nice and the food is amazing !!!! Home made food! You should definitely have dinner there. Breakfast was standard. Overall the place is very cute with a good value for money! Having said that, this is not a hotel or the typical Riad, don’t expect the same cleaning standards or facilities. But expect a great hospitality and a great location to relax and enjoy nature.

If you want a no frills basic overnighter this is the place. Most people use it as a stopover to or from the airport, or a highway stop to another destination, since it is not in the town center. However it is easy to get a 3 dirham taxi ride into town if you need to go. Great mountain view from our room, facing the Highway, a little noisy but totally bearable, and a short walk to a very pleasant park for a summer evening. Our host Mustafa and his son Ali were congenial and Ali made an acceptable standard breakfast for 3.5 euros.
