The riad is in a rural area next to the rose valley. It was a fantastic experienxe to stay in the house together with the family owner and make a walk with him through the surrounging area where roses and much more are coltivated. The hosts: Isabelle and Mohamad are the most wonderful hosts. As a lone female traveller, I felt completely safe and very well looked after. They are kind, helpful, warm and friendly. They work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The location: after the busyness of the Rose festival in town, it was so lovely to come back to the tranquility of this place. I enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on the terrace overlooking the red sandy hills and river of the valley. Watching the sunset every day was one of my favourite moments. The room: beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds, quiet. The food: delicious! I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you Isabelle and Mohamad.

A little slice of paradise a few kilometres out from the town centre of Kalaat MGouna (The valley of the Roses) which is easily accessible using public transport. A tranquil oasis with stunning views of the surrounding area. Plenty of terraces to get away from the bustle of modern life and soak in the picturesque beauty. The accommodation is fantastic, Brigitte and the staff feel more like a family. The food was traditional Moroccan, each meal was exceptional. This is one place we will return to again.
