It's a fantastically designed property for the location and the safari was made more enjoyable by the fact that we were staying at this property. The staff member who showed us the property also provided us with meals - he was fantastic. The host communication was also good and made me feel at ease that we would enjoy the safari booked via the host.

Great location, located close to the entrance of the park. The suite has a plunge pool in the shade, very refreshing! Beautiful lake for birding located right behind their property. The guys are super friendly and also advised on type of safari. The safari itself was out of this world, while many cars did not see much that day we saw 3 leopards, elephant, bear, and much more.

It was really fun and lovely to be staying in a treehouse and being able to listen to and see the wildlife from our balcony. The hotel was also located right next to the national park which was very convenient. The food was also very tasty and the bed had a good mosquito net.

Our host was really kind, helpful and attentive, he arranged for us the Wilpattu National park private tour in jeep and a great dinner at the private terrasse of our house. Our host also organized and drove us to Sigiriya. He is the kindest host and person we met in Sri Lanka since we arrived. We highly recommend this private lovely house and would be pleased to stay again in a next trip !

This place is all about it's people. Roshan and his family go above and beyond to make your stay special. The food, all locally sourced and home made, is an experience in itself. Roshan also arranged the Safari for us, with a very experienced driver. Sandmal, our driver is very good at spotting animals. We saw leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and many other animals and birds during our full day Safari. Do take a quick walk down to the secret tranquil lake for an amazing sunset view.
