The Veraima Kandy is a lovely little hotel from which you can explore Kandy and easily reach the Sri Dalada Maligawa, for example. The staff and the owner are super attentive and helpful and give lots of great tips. The owner even drove us to a restaurant and picked us up again afterwards. That's great customer service!

The location at a high place was very good to have a look at the whole city.

This place is gorgeous from the moment you step into the house your taken through a beautiful house with art deco and 1900 vibes, surrounded by palms and coconut trees and a gorgeous pool open all evening, excellent staff service and food. I could stay here for a month. The Room was gorgeous too light room and airy with prob the most comfy bed ever. David the owner was lovely as to where the staff and the family of Terriers.

Staff were fantastic and the chef’s food excellent. Swimming pool a pleasant bonus.

The setting was beautiful, pool was lovely. Staff were friendly and the room was a nice size. It was nice to be outside of Kandy in the hills rather than in the town.

The room was same as it was shown in the pictures. Good water pressure & hot water. Clean and comfy beds. There was a separate seating and dining area. Good location, only 10 mins walk to the city and 20mins walk to Sri Dalada Maligawa. (If you are not familiar with the city, request directions from the staff.) Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Not related to the hotel but hope it helps, Be aware of the scamming tuk-tuk drivers in city. If you don't have prior transport arrangement, use Pick me service.

Really amazing staff! organized a transfer for us, changed our booking to 2 nights when our flight was delayed, showed us great hiking paths through tea plantations. the property is serene and has beautiful views, but for us 2-3 days would be enough here
