Everything was perfect, great staff, would reccomend

I would like to share my experience at Treasure Rock. It was my first staying in villa’s type hotel and it’s absolutely amazing! The staff is very polite and kind, always here to help, top service! The food is delicious and not very spicy, enormous portions. The director of the hotel is a really nice lady! She organized us a free ride to the waterfalls. The villa is a masterpiece, so stylish! 10 out of 10! Swimming pool is clean and very useful considering big ocean’s weaves. Nearby there is the Yala Park with exotic animals and beautiful mountains. I recommend this villa to those who really wants to stay away from big cities, it’s so calm and peaceful. However words are not enough to describe this magnificent place, you have to discover it by yourself!

Very nice house in a colonial style located in beautiful garden. Nice to sit and eat on a terrace. An amazing beach just across the street. Tasty local curry for dinner. Elegantly served tea on a terrace. We definitely recommend stay in Kamlo.

There a lots of things to like! The owners (two brothers) said this was not a hotel but their home which we loved. No need to book a safari in advance, the brothers, arranged a safari tour with Thilanga who was brilliant with 20 years safari experience and more as he grew up in Yala. He sat with is (instead of just as a driver) and pointed out every animal we saw. We didn't actually see a leopard but Thilanga's knowledge and enthusiasm made it a brilliant day. The bungalow is literally on the beach! and what a beach. I witnessed one of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen - see photos.

The natural surroundings. The comfortable cabana and the friendly proprietors. The food was very good and Karen & Shanta went out of their way to help us.

Great location for Yala Safari. The house is a 20-25min walk to Kirinda beach and less than 5 min to a shop with water, fruit and snacks. We stayed to do a 12hr safari with Santha the host which was very fairly priced and really enjoyable. Very generous breakfast and lunch on safari. Way more than we could eat. The room is clean and basic but provided what we needed. Lovely seating area outside the room to relax in the garden with some lovely plants.

The owner Sehan and his wife are exquisite and caring people, conforming to the European hotel tradition they welcome us with fresh Juice and cool towels, They have always helped us for the accommodation and choice of meals, however very well prepared and very welcome, to discover the local flavors. Here they really want the guest to feel at home, so much so that he seems to subjugate in a villa on the sea with butler available! The nearby beach is a few steps but the waves are perhaps too wild to swim, however it is the ideal scenario for photographs like advertising! In addition, a few kilometers, passed the village of Kirinda, there is another larger, quiet and enchanting beach. This quiet mini resort is strategic if really willing to visit the nearby Yala National Park. Infact, Sehan and the skilled driver Marduka organized us a comfortable and wonderful safari with great jeep for a whole day: started after the dawn we shot corners and blocks of Block 1, chased a multitude of animals, lunch abundantly and rested in a structure on an even more beautiful beach than the others and obviously met the famous Leopard! The property features paid airport shuttle service also. We found every price correct and fully rewarded by expectations. Despite the torrid heat when you go back to the room, which has 3 beds, you have all the space to regenerate: you sleep very well, a functioning and silent air conditioning, a large bathroom equipped with bathrobe-hygiene kit, with double and warm shower, along with free Wi-Fi and there is even a hairdryer. Outside the door there is a large space with table and seats as an alternative to the shed used for meals and a free parking area. In short, the Kingfisher Beach Resort managed by Sehan is highly recommended to fully enjoy this coastal area of Sri Lanka.

Family-managed small boutique hotel with comfortable and quiet rooms. Convenient location, in particular, if you plan to do a safari at the Yala National Park. Good internet. Very nice swimming pool and garden, very well decorated and maintained. Helpful staff. Very good breakfast and dinner. The owner and chef, Mr. Shaluka, was an excellent host, who always tried to help and please us with our requests.

The property is kept and well maintained and is really amazing. definitely worth the visit
