Well equipped apartments with washing machine. First I was downstairs, then could move upstairs, which offers nicer balcony and garden view. The owner was not there, when I arrived, although I texted the exact arrival time before, he told me later I should have called when I arrive. So better also call for checkin. A barista coffee place is 5 min to walk and also a supermarket, local fruit and vegetable shops close by.

Rivendell Twisted Tree offered the perfect hideaway from Colombo. Being based in the middle of beautiful nature with a river passing, a nice pond and surrounded by palm trees, cows and peacock the release of stress starts immediately.
To top this we got a massage, which was smoothly arranged for us. Absolutely relaxing and exactly what was needed for my parents after a long flight - definitely highly recommend to book it directly with your stay. Room, pool and food were excellent as well.

The property was in a beautiful rural location which was ideal for our first night stay in Sri Lanka. The host was welcoming and at our request provided a cooked meal for us - absolutely huge portions for both dinner and breakfast. The grounds were beautifully kept and had a lovely view.
