Good location, very close from the bus station (you can walk from there) and also from the most important places to visit.

It was a large room with a little area off the bedroom with a table and two chairs. But that space had very poor lighting. The place was clean and had free parking on site. The owner was really nice and interested in talking to her guests and offering advice on where to go for food and sights etc.
I would give a rating of good+

Great location. You can rent bikes down the street for $6 USD/day and return them at 9 pm. Bicycles can get you to all the main sites without advanced skill, though 15 minute ride-segments to reach it all. We didn't use taxis except to the Bulguksa Buddhist temple about 20 minutes outside of town, definitely worth the trip. Room is clean, breakfast gives a variety of Korean & western options, coffee machine available 24 hours/day. Don't miss the local market (Jungang), with night food stalls from 6-11 pm. $9 buys you a plastic tray with 4 options from different stalls, amazing variety of Korean delicacies. Small rooms, no facilities, doesn't matter because it's a comfortable room to sleep and you'll be out on this UNESCO museum of a city all day anyway. We've been twice and checked out other comparable hotels, nothing came close. For the average tourist, two nights covers this city well, one night is not enough.

The check in was very easy and smooth, it was very nice that each room had its own parking spot. The room was clean and well ventilated, the shower was also nice with good stream of warm water. Everything we needed was in the room including a fridge.

Pretty town and worth seeing with wonderful restaurants but the burial mounds visit is a must. Very well organized with information centres.
The Hanok village is also interesting and has great restaurants.

I wish I had stayed at least another day to take in everything Gyeongju has to offer. Going with a guide who drove us around and knew all the ins and outs of restaurants and other places to visit was key to making our short visit so memorable.

In total spent around four days in Gyeongju and the surrounding area. The main part of the city is pretty typical of Korean cities. The main attractions are to the south. It is steeped in history and a great place to learn about Korean heritage. Tombs of former kings, partially recreated palaces, stunning bridges, fields of colourful flowers and some streets with fantastic restaurants and shops. Much of the historic area is laid out in beautifully maintained parks and gardens. A highlight and one of our favourite places on our 2.5 weeks trip to Korea. There are two national parks near by offering good walking opportunities. We undertook one short walk to Chilbul-am temple which was incredibly scenic.

Tourist area. But it was awesome. Lots of local tourists too so you know it's a good place to go to. Good food too. If you love history, you will love this place because you get to learn all about Korean history and the old kingdom.

Bus travel around the sights is very easy with a Tmoney card and Naver maps downloaded we were able to easily get around the sights, of which there are many. Definitely recommend the Observatory and the bridge (go to the bridge at night it's stunning).

A city with a rich history.
A city with a rich history. Lots of artifacts, museums, nature to enjoy. Very generous and comprehensive information from brochures can be easier found. Tourist information centers are really helpful places. The parks are really one of its kind....so beautiful and we'll thought out to make sure that all visitors can enjoy. Security is good in the touristy places.
The hosts were friendly and caring and our room reflected their care and attention. The guesthouse has the charm of an old hanok and the location is extremely convenient to many of Gyeongju's historical attractions as well as many places to eat and shop. Breakfast was a simple western-style continental with toast, hard-boiled eggs, and fruits as well as tea and coffee. As long as you go in with the proper expectations (it's a charismatic old house, not a modern 5-star hotel) then you will not be disappointed!
The location. It is close from main attraction in Gyeongju such as Hwangnidan-gil and Daereungwon.
I also really love the blanket. It is so soft and smooth that makes me want to keep bundled up. The bed and pillow also really comfortable and clean.
I also like the fact they provide the small night lamp & charging port near the bed.
Amenities quite complete. They provide tooth paste but no tooth brush. Enough roll tissue and towels + a lot of clothes hanger.
Super modern, super clean little hotel in the historic area of Gyeongju. I spent quite some time trying to decide on which hotel to choose and this was by far the most spacious and modern-looking one I could find. All the good ratings from other travellers also motivated me to book it. The rooms are immaculate and have everything you need, plus the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely the best value for the buck in this city, you won't regret it!
Fantastic location. Super helpful owner and staff. Restaurants and convenience stores surround. Good free breaky. Comfy beds. Great bathrooms. Large rooms. Fast free WiFi. Powerpoints and USB ports around room. Free tea & coffee at any time in 2nd floor communal and breaky room. Can walk to almost all attractions (or bus it easily too). Hotel had own carparks too. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Gyeongju is my first stop during my travel in Korea. I take a bus arriving here from Incheon airport directly. The hotel's location is convenient that can easily get to here following staff's instructions. Staff are friendly and quite helpful on everything. Hotel offers good breakfast. I love Gyeongju's rich Buddhism culture as it is the ancient capital city of Silla.
We loved the place and we recommend for sure!
The experience was incredible and our hosts were very very sweet and welcoming!
The location is perfect! In the centre of Gyeongju and near all the commodities.
The breakfast is very good and we really enjoyed hearing Mrs. play korean instruments and sing with her beautiful voice.
Thank you so much!

A short walk away from where you want to be whenever you go to Gyeongju. The ajumma who runs the place was kind and didn't bother us. The rooms are nice and quiet. Shower was good. Not bad for a last minute option. Free water and close to a few convenience stores. Great if you like walking and plan on exploring rather than sitting in the hotel all day.
The hotel is conveniently located just across the tumulus park. It is very clean and modern. The check-in was not very easy as we couldn't check-in before 3pm and couldn't check-in after 6pm (we were eventually able to do it around 7pm but we had to rush at the end of our day...).
Breakfast does not offer a lot of choices either.
We stayed in a private room which was clean and sized to the budget.
There were free laundry facilities, which we were delighted to use.
There was a good breakfast included.
The bus station is nearby.
The guesthouse / hostel was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone spending a few nights in Gyeongju on a budget.
Hanok Inn is a beautiful authentic Hanok, with a lovely small garden. It was quiet. Most importantly the lady who owns this Hanok was a delight. Telling us about the Silla Festival events and the best places to have dinner. For breakfast she prepared us a delicious Korean meal. This is a perfect place to stay in Gyeongju.
Location was great, and the couple running the Guesthouse was very helpful, and also spoke English, Was not impressed with the breakfasts, but at least they had fruit. Though the room was small, this seems to be true throughout Korea, and it had all the amenities. I was very happy with my stay
The staff and the people in the hostel were very nice. The room offers everything you need and the common areas are a great place to chill.
The location is in walking distance of all the attractions of Gyeongju
For the price you pay the Hostel is totally worth it.
Loved this cozy guesthouse.. perfect for my two-night stay... very close to Gyeongju's famous sites and allowed me to wander around and find beautiful cafes and places to eat ...
Beautiful traditional Korean house with a helpful host. Comfortable and clean. Easy walking distance to the sites of Gyeongju.
The complimentary breakfast was delicious!
What a cute hotel! The owner is very helpful and so niceeeee! The room is so clean, really cute insides with great location which closed to many nice places to go around.
Location. Easy to access to Gyeongju Historic Area.
Breakfast. Very delicious Korean food served with loving care.
Hostess. She is so kind and sincere.
