The place is absolutely amazing, very clean. Stephen, Ngala and Joseph are the best. They made us feel like we were home away from home despite it being a business trip.
The seafood meal chef Ngala prepared was better than any 5star restaurant we've dined at.
The breakfast by the pool was great as well.

Truth be told there was nothing i enjoyed or liked. Next time they need to treat customers as real billionaires not to just use the name without a proper billionaire treat.

Easy town to move around. Not that many pedestrian walkways.
Easy town to move around. Not that many pedestrian walkways. From my last visit(2023) there is an upgrade though.
Need for more coffee places.
The beach areas could be more cleaner.
For coffee and lovely delicious snacks,go to Malaika restaurant opposite the Buntwani Beach Front.
Walking is the healthiest way to move around Malindi, just don't give a visual contact with the boda boda taxis( you will ride unwillingly!)
Avoid the Tikka chicken with coloured(yellow) spicing.

The information on Booking.com about Malindi is an accurate representation of what I found on site. I visited the following places:
Galana Shopping Centre
Vasco da Gama Pillar
Portuguese Chapel
Malindi Marine National Park.
I occasionally ate out from a wide range of restaurants in the city centre. It was quite easy to move around Malindi and I currently have no experience of places to avoid while in Malindi.

Laid back lifestyle, great beaches, wonderful Italian pizzas. Vasco Da Gama pillar and Portuguese chapel are right there. Museums need updating. Not a huge amount to do in Malindi but if you want to get out and about, Hell's Kitchen in Marafa is worth visiting. It is a mini mini Grand Canyon. Karibuni villas in Mambrui is also nice - clearest sea water you ever saw.
I liked everything. Large room , big bed, balcony and easy to find location. walking distance to the beach , shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful . You can even have room service and order food. The property is big , plenty space for parking and open area to sit outside. It’s in a safe location , very clean, they have even TV in the room and the price is very budget friendly . I enjoyed my stay and I will be back as soon I can .
We had a good stay at Sandies. The staff was super friendly and helpful,Brian by the pool bar gave exceptional service, always smiling and welcoming. We liked the buffet meals and nice cocktails.Had All inclusive and it was worth it.There was security on the beach which helped with hawkers.Super close to the Airport. Our PCR test for return to our country was arranged effortlessly by reception and the samples were taken in our room.
The photos of the place, don’t do it any justice, the ambience is amazing. Well maintained, even to the hen house. There were peacocks on the property that was a beautiful thing to see after a very long time. Access to beach is at walking distance. Access to various sites and the town was only a short Tuktuk (keke) ride. We, However , walked to many of the sites…
The place is exceptional. Quite the ambience has a pool close to amenities and the beach. The host Damaris is lovely stayed out of our way but there was always staff around willing to help with anything. Great breakfast both days and most importantly a VERY AFFORDABLE RATE. It sure will always be the first place I consider whenever I’m in Malindi.
The property was just as described. Ruth our host was very kind and helpful.
The place was very clean. Well equipped. 2 bedrooms with air conditioning , 2 bathroom (hot shower), 2 toilets.
The swimming pool was just amazing to the eye.
The place is just perfect for someone looking to relax.
The beach was a walkable distance.
This hotel has great potential! Built next to a huge Baobab tree that provides shade for a sitting arrangement, it has a lovely Tuscany-Swahili architecture and the pool is just fine. The location is close to shopping and downtown area, though more noisy and smelly (waste burning) as the hotels closer to the beach.
The villa was beautiful with amazing staff. It's a walking distance to the beach so that was fun. I'd also like to mention our extremely helpful tuktuk guy Maro. He was our guide for the whole period we were in Malindi. 0792106665 you can reach out to him. Had some beautiful experiences thanks to him
Staff at the hotel were welcoming and generous in helpfulness. They seemed delighted to host us.
I liked the rooms facing the garden, they had privacy and lemons growing outside!!! Beach was beautiful and expansive... security was also assured. They. were generous with late checkout - Thank you
The location is about 5 minutes walk to the beach; close to several restaurants and a short drive to Malindi Town. They have a lovely (shared) pool. The host is very responsive and efficient... Any requests made were resolved almost immediately. We enjoyed our stay.
I loved the fact that the place is inside a hotel which is good and the staff was friendly to us. You can also access the beach from the hotel. The place was clean. There was WiFi which was reliable. The host was also friendly
Lydia is a very good host and also helped organize someone to help us move around Malindi.
The house looks exactly as the pictures, Very clean compound with a very clean pool and walking distance to the beach.
3 minutes walk to the beach.
Superb services and delicious meals from chef Faisal Yusuf & warm welcome from Scarlett.
Generally everyone within the hotel premises is welcoming.
The apartment is huge; giant comfy sofas, big beds, and AC, so it was great for our group of three to relax in. Easy walk to beach and to Olimpia which has great food!
I loved the spacious room of the place. It is by the pool and the beach is just steps outside of your door. You can walk down the beach to several restaurants.
We had a very nice staying at Kenyan House. The house is amazing and we felt like at home. Highly recommended. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.
