The location wise is not really bad its good so far since the city is not really huge you can walk around instead of using the water taxi unless if you want to visit nearby islands which we used to travel agency to take us to those islands

Lovely character hotel in a great location. Our room overlooked a side canal and the gondolas would pass below our window. Sometimes we could enjoy a beautiful tenor voice singing with a man playing the piano according. St marks square was an easy walk and we could hear the bells. The Vaporette stop was about 50 metres away, so super easy. The Grand canal was also 50 metres away. The reception staff was very helpful and pleasant. Lovely breakfast was on offer
