Tabiano is a very small, quiet town that is ideal to all those people and travellers who seek for relaxation and peacefullness. Tabioano is embellished by the homonymous castle, which is a private house today, and can be visited only accompanied by a tour guide.
Its ufficial website (www.castelloditabiano.com) states that "a tour of the castle lasts about 45 minutes and crosses the most fascinating places of the manor: the ancient vaulted cellars, the wonderful halls decorated with stucco and frescoes, the grand staircase, the panoramic terraces".
Entry fees:
Adults: € 10,00
Children 8-12 years, Passport Castles of the Duchy and Parma Card: € 9,00
The entrance ticket also includes the guided tour.
In the small town of Tabiano there are not many options where to go to eat lunch or dinner; for more options check the nearby towns of Salsomaggiore Terme and Fidenza.

I don't think this a particularly well known touristy place for overseas visitors but it could be as there are lots of hotels there and it is very Italian with lovely views all around. This was a stopover hotel (Lake Garda to Pisa area) but we could have easily happily stayed a day or 2 longer. We took the scenic route to a place near Pisa the next day (instead of using the toll roads) - lovely views all along but the route is not for the faint hearted as the road is very hilly / mountainous and the roads are quite narrow in places.
A very clean hotel with great facilities. We booked a triple bed and was suprised to see two different room with common corridor and two seperate bathrooms. Very good and I highly recommend. Would love to visit again and stay for longer next time. The breakfast had a good spread from different cakes, bread, proscuitto, cheese, ham, sausages, scambled and boiled eggs, cereals, fruits and many other items.
The hotel administrator was very polite. And gave us glasses when we asked.
The hotel has late check-in - it's convenient. There is a large own parking.
Although the room is very small, it has everything. There were bottles of water and snacks on the table.
Good hotel for a short stay. Suitable for travelers by car for an overnight stay on the way to another region.
from the outside the hotel is refurbished and cosy, has nice green area with swimming pool, sauna, laces for rest. many terraces, the receptionists are helpful - be aware that it seems they speak Italian and French only.
there is an option to pay for extra breakfast and it's nice (not only sweet things which is rare in Italy).
Many many thanks to Stefano,Vittoria,Vanessa and Deborah
to the whole family members for their kind and caring host style We had a wonderful trip We will miss you all We have departed from the hotel 4 days before the checkout and since then we have missed all of them all Many greetings from us hope to see you again.
it was not bad the problem was the hotel has not proper room and they had some problems and they changed our hotel right before we arrived it made us un happy bcz the other hotel 's rate in booking was 7 amd it was less than our hotel that we researved in booking
For an older, dated property it was definitely clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful even though not Fluent in English. Great coffee, though not surprised being in Italy.
Fast WiFi too.
Wonderful, atmospheric hotel with character and friendly staff. No complaints at all. It's serviceable, clean, the pool is great, rooms are spacious and great value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
We like the Hotel general outside and entree, also the room and bed was comfortable.
Manager was friendly and we could go to the other part of the Hotel to have lunch where we had an excellent lunch
Nice hotel on the hills of Terme. Especially clean air and clean water exists. For short getaways, ideal hotel. Around this region, I think it is a good opportunity to spend calm and quiet time.
