The Location of the hotel was exceptional for access to transportation (train and ferry) around Lago d'Iseo. The room was large and had a beautiful view of the lake and the bed was very comfortable. Despite the 'worn appearance' of the bathroom the facilities were very clean. The owner was extremely nice and carried my luggage up to the train station for me after I had injured my hand.

The hotel has a superb position right on the lake. We booked an apartment to the side because we wanted space, and also had our own private terrace to sit out on - excellent. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on - I wanted to take it home! Breakfast in the hotel was first class.

The lake view from the hotel is amazing. The surroundings are quiet and great for a relaxed holiday atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean. The room we had was not with a lake view but had a big balcony looking at the parking lot and was still good. To note: the great view comes at a price as it is quite a steep walk up to get there. We were with just a backpack so it was fine. However, good to be prepared in case you have a lot of / heavy luggage.
