Thank you very much for a lovely and relaxing stay with you. You have been so helpful and loving to us. The property is surrounded by nature and our children loved the dogs, donkeys and chickens. There is a beautiful view. There is a restaurant nearby and you can eat well locally. The rooms and bathrooms are lovingly decorated and super clean right down to the smallest corner. The breakfast is delicious and everything is homemade. We had to get to the ferry very early and we received a delicious breakfast package and even got up and saw us off. We heartily recommend this accommodation and will come again. Thanks to you two you are great hosts and we felt very comfortable. Best regards Hanna and Family

    Everything was wonderful.

Everything was wonderful. We wish we could have stayed longer! The hosts were lovely, and the breakfast was the best we had in Italy! There is a fantastic pizzeria just up the street, where we had an incredible dinner. Our host made a reservation for us and recommended his favorite pizza and which was fantastic.

This is a beautiful area of Italy, particulalry for people who enjoy nature at her finest ! This is a small town with a lovely personality where all are welcome, including your dogs. Sassello is small and perfectly formed with a few small artisan shops and a couple of little coffee bars where you can get gelatos too. If you like to cycle or bike, this area is very popular due to its surrounding mountain passes that give amazing views of the Appenines and peaks of the Alps. There are also ruins and places of interest to visit - you can pick up ap free map from the Info Centre. This is not a party town at all which in turn means its safe and quiet at night ! It is very easy to get around Sassello by walking - but you will need a car or bike to get to it in the first place. The people are lovely and very helpful - if you need the pharmacist or the vets, they both speak English. For the English, its warm from about April - if you like Mushrooms, September and October is the time to visit - and its still very warm !
