The host, Dalida - was very nice and tried to assist us with anything we've needed. Although the language communication was difficult for us - we've manage to communicate and understand each other. She was flexible with breakfast changes for us and the place was comfortable for us woth 2 little kids. She gave us the biggest room even when we ordered smaller room. The place is beautiful, peaceful, rooms are wide and convenient for families. It was a GREAT vacation for us!

Unbelievable location!!! An absolute must return. Gorgeous setting, peaceful surroundings . Wine served is from the property, olive trees all around. Dinner was plentiful and delicious. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by Monica, Dominico, and a home baked cake,. The house sits up high in the heart of Vicalvi. It is kept beautifully clean with everything you could possibly need and more available. Great location for exploring the Valle di Comino.

After 4 nights in Rome, La Pietra was a very peaceful refuge, in the hills outside of Arpino, the very charming birthplace of Cicero. The grocery had good local wine, cheese, and bread for picnics along Camino di San Benedetto.
I picked this agriturismo because of the reviews for dinners. Unfortunately, during the week, in the off season, they don’t cook, unless they know that there will be enough diners. Breakfast was good, with a rotating selection of pastries, bread, meat, coffee and juice.
