We flew into Palermo , ( and in April with fewer tourists) and had 10 days in Sicily, so it was a great starting place, in the west , but having driven all the way through to the east , along south east coastal roads , mainly to see Catania, Syracuse , Taormina , Cefalu, it was a long way . Messina was big city and not very interesting

We went to San Vito specifically for the Cous Cous festival.
We went to San Vito specifically for the Cous Cous festival. It’s less crowded in late September and the weather is still good. We’ve also visited at Easter time. Don’t expect a beach holiday in April, just relaxation by the seaside.
I would suggest eating at Cric e Croc restaurant and of course, eat seafood Cous Cous.

San Vito Lo Capo is a lovely town situated at the end of a peninsula on the other western side of Sicily, about an hour and a quarter from Palermo Airport.
There is a fantastic beach to enjoy during the day and an ample array of local shops, restaurants, bars and local eateries. I glad to say the are no multi national fast food outlets at all. You can park on street at a cost and for those requiring long stay facilities there are car parks... they're not overly expensive, but they are secure and convenient.
We will return another day for sure!

The most beautiful beach in Sicily - clean turquoise warm water. But to many people, toilets on the beach fo 1 euro, showers for 3 euro! The restaurants are mediocre and overpriced. If you eat in the cheaper ones you pay a lot for "coperto" - the price is written nowhere in the menu. So wherever you eat you pay the same. Touristy place. No night life. Family and kids place. I liked the chess tournament they had.

Little historic town with beautiful church the view was amazing with clouds gliding through the mountains in the morning. With the amount of restaurants you could choose virtually anything to eat. Exceptional local kitchen, plenty of sunshine and most beautiful beach makes this place special. You can even climb up the mountain and the view is gorgeous. Make sure you don’t wear flip flops like me ;)

Wonderful place under the mountains overlooking the sea. The village of Macari is located between the Zingaro and Monte Cofalo nature reserves. Also close to beautiful beaches, where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets.
To San Vito Lo Capo about 7 minutes by car.
Very friendly host with his family and a cleaning lady. He took care of everything we needed.
If we are to return to Sicily, we will definitely be here.
Spacious, location and full kitchen, two bathrooms. If you don’t care about app the cons I wrote, it is big and good for couple or large family. Centrally location near all the restaurants and beach is 5 minutes walking.
Arrival was smooth we were able to get a pass to get through into the town to drop off our luggage’s as it is only allowed by permit.
The accommodation was around 500m to beach and maybe 200m to centre of San Vito Lo Capo. The apartent was clean and quite huge. The neighborhood is quiet. Parking included. The kitchen was fully equipped. Next to kitchen was small outdoor patio. Pool available on garden. Relation - accommondation and price was really good. We stay there 2 night more.
A short walk to San Vito Lo Capo marvellous beach, in a quiet part of the town.
Parking is easy to access and not far away (if needed you can drive in front of the Hotel, and than leave a car on Parking, or pick-up your suitcases before leaving).
Flawless check-in process and entrance. Friendly and supportive staff responds fast if needed.
Very modern and very clean, well furnished even if it was a small room.
The position is near the main roads of San Vito, where you can find everything Sicily can offer.
The breakfast is home made and of very quality.
The host is very helpful
The option of using a parking pass for a small price is vital in San Vito
This is probably the best hotel in San Vito lo Capo in this price range. The staff was super nice, the location was really good, and the room was very clean. We would definitely go back again. Parking facilities were also very helpful and included in the price.
The Hotel is practically on the beach, for a small fee You have Your own sunbeds and umbrella. Breakfast was quite OK. Dinners a little expensive (You find a better restaurant in the town, for the same price). Furniture a little older.
Central location, good amenities and standard breakfast. We unfortunately had to change hotels because of the uncomfortable bed and loud noise due to thin walls. There is a walkable, free, safe parking lot on the east side of town.
The hotel is very elegant int he common areas. We only stayed one night but we were able to leave our bags for the day and book through the hotel two seats on the beach at a good price. Great location!
Hotel Soffio D'Estate is located near the beach. The hotel is managed by a very friendly and lovely family! One feels as a guest truly welcome! Thank you very much for everything! :)
Spacious room, new facility, great breakfast and perfect location. With walking distance you can reach downtown and beach. The host Gaspare provided all the tips for good restaurants
Good location-5 min walking distance to the beach, possibly to rent an umbrella in a space reserved for the hotel guests. In general good price/quality ratio for San Vito Lo Capo.
It was lovely clean and a perfect place to relax after the beach and before walking down to town. The pool area is great and we wish we had booked to stay longer.
The location was great and the beach was very close. The chairs were a bit more expensive at the hotel's beach, but they provided us with towels which was great.
