A cozy little place tucked away near Mt. Etna. The property is large enough to roam around, but has easy access (with car) to the local towns and attractions. The staff was extremely friendly -- we even got a recipe for the amazing cake that they make every morning for breakfast. The nearby restaurant, within walking distance, is also fantastic!
Offering a garden and garden view, POGGIO ROSETO is located in Randazzo, 40 km from Taormina Cable Car - Mazzaro Station and 41 km from Isola Bella.

A very warm welcome of a very sweet hostess. We had a flat tyre in our rental car and she went out of her way to make sure we had it fixed on a sunday, when everything was closed. We travelled 2 weeks all over Sicily visiting biodiversity hotspots. This was easily our best stay. Very nice local grown sweet peas were offered freely.
The location is superb. Hoopoes in the garden. Our only Wood Warblers were found here. Orioles singing every morning. European Turtle Doves purring. At night several Scops Owls from the garden. Scarce Swallowtail and other good butterflies in the garden. Very nice spacious rooms. Best value for your stay near the Etna.
Offering a garden and city view, Casa Don Vicenzo is located in Randazzo, 45 km from Taormina Cable Car - Mazzaro Station and 46 km from Isola Bella.

Spacy kitchen/sitting room with good heating facilities. The decoration of the sleeping room is maybe a bit over the top, but then again it´s supposed to be romantic I guess. The owner keeps a hairdresser shop next door and is easily available in case of questions or trouble.

Randazzo sits at the right place if you want to visit the rough part of Sicily i.e. Nebrodi.
It is 20 minutes a way from Alcantara Gorge and twenty minutes more towards Taormina.
If you are crossing the Messina Straight it is a good stop too.
We drove from ENNA to Randazzo and the views and the ride is breath taking. We stopped many times taking photos of Mt Etna. rolling fields and farm animals. The Villages literally hanging to the cliffs on the way are jaw breaking.

Relaxing town with welcoming atmosphere at a key point on the CircumEtnea train. We saw many people making a day trip, but I think this town deserves at least one, if not two nights. Wonderful restaurants, typical Sicilian products, and one of the best wine shops in Sicily (Il Buon Gustiano.) Randazzo would be an excellent place from which to explore Mt. Etna, the Alcantara river gorge, or focus on the DOC and DOCG Etna wineries in the area.

A very attractive unpretentious town, with lots of interesting nooks and crannies. Fine views of Etna, and a major station on the FCE narrow gauge railway around Etna. I'd have preferred to stay 3 rather than 2 nights.

I loved the The outdoor area and the pool area and the restaurant serves excellent traditional sicilian food,The double room & Bathroom are Huge,Staff where nice always with a smile ..
The Atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit noisy for my liking as it was full and there was to much light ,in my opinion It needs less lighting with some soft music which it make it more romantic for an evening dinner.

The town lacked a bit of life and seemed quite run down.
The town lacked a bit of life and seemed quite run down. The restaurants were good, but as we were there during the Covid-19 restrictions, it's hard to provide a fair review. The town was far more scenic from the outside, than inside. Other local towns (Linguaglossa) had more atmosphere and a wider choice of restaurants.
Beautiful country villa in wine country. We had a wonderful stay at this agriturismo In mid-september. The two sisters who hosted us were very kind and helpful, including with reservations and wine tastings. The feeling is relaxed and comfortable, and the house is right in the middle of vineyards with fruit trees, birds and friendly outdoor cats. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet everything was clean. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. It felt like staying with a relative in Sicily! A highlight of our 2 week trip.
A dream stay, something special. We liked it so much that we came back to Randazzo to stay at this place again. It is just beautiful, you feel the charm and history in this flat, but everything is well taken care of and spotlessly clean. It is spacious and furnished in a classy style. Pictures do not convey this well, it is much better. The internet is fast. The location is perfect. The host is an extremely polite and responsive person. Thank you so much! Hope we can come back to beautiful Randazzo in the future.
Matteo welcomed us to a room with a balcony view of Mount Etna! In addition to our room, we had use of a comfortable living room, coffee available any time. Randazza is a lovely old town with limited tourist traffic, making it a delightful counterpoint to other destinations in Sicily. The drive through wine country to reach Randazza is beautiful. Matteo served us a lovely breakfast, seating us at a table with yet another view of Mount Etna. He was a thoroughly charming host, proud of his hometown.
The setting is gorgeous - in the heart of a small vineyard with a view of Mt Etna outside of Randazzo. The restaurant was very good, the wine excellent, and the staff welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The room, while very basic, was comfortable and very clean. Note that there is not much of a common area or lobby to hang out in if the weather isn't good, but as it was excellent while we were there we enjoyed both the terrace and pool area.
Everything 😊
This hotel is amazing from A to Z. The staff is so nice and welcoming and make you feel like you're part of a huge family 😊
The rooms are very clean, spacious, and comfortable.
The pool is awesome and very good if you have kids.
The breakfast is amazing
The restaurant is top notch.
Parking is free, within the hotel grounds, and there's ample space.
We have already been here 3 times and will definitely book again in the future.
The location, the setting surrounded by vineyards…
Excellent and very friendly staff
The owner, Paolo, was very warm and accommodating…
Enjoyed our quick tour and education about the history of the vineyard with a tour of where the original wine production occurred
Loved how the new facility (hotel) was symbolically built upon the original…
What history was preserved there❤️
We also tried and very much enjoyed their wine…. Thank u!
Best stay of my life!
Few rooms rented in family property in lovely Randazzo.
Incredibly welcoming, flexible, warm, generous host, spacious well equipped room and so clean! I did stay in 5* Hotels many times but never in my live I've seen bathroom floor so clean and shiny and never ever I felt so welcomed.
Do yourself a favour and stay over with this amazing family!!!
Marta and her husband were friendly and welcoming. Easy to communicate with despite our limited Italian. The breakfast spread was delicious and plentiful. Randazzo is a unique, old town to explore. We ate at two excellent restaurants: San Giorgio & Il Drago and Agora.
Lovely decorated and arranged breakfast, perfectly quity out in nowhere, perfect view to mount Etna. Great location for bicycle tours and hiking. In reach of public transport (Etna small gauge railway in Randazzo from Catania or by bus from Naxos).
Our stay was very comfortable. The staff was very professional and helpful. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. The incuded breakfast was varied and high quality.
Poggio Roseto was a very nice, calm place to stay during our vacation in Randazzo. Genny and her husband were very friendly. They helped us with any questions we had and made our stay very pleasant.
Antica vina: charming location, air-co bedroom was very welcome in very hot summer. Refreshing swimming pool. Authentic simple good family cooking. Easy access to Randazzo or Etna excursions.
It’s location is very good to explore the nebrodi park area and even Taormina and surrounding areas. Road to arrive to it is good although in the fields. They have a barn full of animals!
Comfortable, welcoming guesthouse with spacious room, comfortable beds, private balcony looking out to the beautiful landscape of Randazzo. Wonderful breakfast and hospitality.
The location at the foot of Mt Etna and outside the lovely town of Randazzo was perfect for he 2 nights we spent there. The pool and gardens are gorgeous and the views amazing.
This is a great place to stay in. Wonderful spacious apartment . The host was easy to contact and was there to let me in. Probably the best accommodation in Randazzo.
