There's peace and quiet at the farm, parking place is outside of the farm so cars do not disturb. If you want to visit some of Tuscany's wonderful towns you can go to Volterra, Siena, Firenze, Pisa, Cecina (by the sea) and villages around - I recommend La Sassa and Micciano - wonderful views from the top of the hills. Also Pomarance is worth to see. You can taste the Tuscany's kitchen at the Verde Oasi or La Baracchina. We visitted Siena just a day before Palio run so we could see all the preparations and we saw archers' competition at Volterra with all the ancient look - amazing.

The best place we have ever stayed in on Booking.com. Brilliant spacious apartment, three layered pools, wonderful views of Tuscany countryside and near Volterra for sight seeing, and shops in Pomarance. Owners lovely. I would happily live there.

Pomarance is a small and quiet town, also with history and charm but with no tourism. With people who live there sitting and talking on the street and greeting you when you walk there. Middle week you hear the band rehearsing nearby, delicious. There are a couple of good and cheap pizzerias (L'ultimo Spicchio and Blasi). And a big supermarket, coop, next door.

All double bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped, including a washing machine. Host greeted us upon arrival and was always available to answer any questions and deal with minor issues that arose during our week long stay.

Our apartment (named: grecale) is very well refurbished from an original old barn: 100% Italian country original style! We have been there during a summer temperature peak and a conditioner in the apartment would have mitigated the hot temperature, anyway we were super happy and for sure will return. The owner was very helpful and and provided updates on local events and kept checking if we were ok. There was a lot of parking space and supermarket opposite the apartment.
