A nice little mountain town. It has a surprisnigly large supermarket and some other stores. The main feature, of course, is the Kronplatz ski center. A small but lovely town in south Tyrol, easy reachable from the main roads and motorway. It is definitely worth to dine out in one of the lovely restaurants in town, they do know what good food is here! We tried Osteria Plazores, Ristorante Erika and Restaurant/Steakhouse Tabarel. Especially the first two stood out in terms of food and service. Highly recommended! Everything in town is within short walking distance and in winter San Vigilio Di Marebbe is your perfect base to visit famous skiing areas like Kronplatz/Plan de Corones and Alta Badia/Sellaronda, the latter via the "Connecting Skiers" bus service.

The village is absolutely beautiful - typical Dolomite village, smaller in size, off the main road, perfect for families and people looking for peace, quiet, amazing mountains, wonderful food and a great experience. It's great both during the winter and the summer, because apart from skiing there are many other activities, both for adults and kids.
