Surrounded by history, art - many art pieces hung on the ancient walls. Everywhere our eyes enjoy the visual beauty; the cloister was quiet as a cloister should be. We walked from hall to hall, it is hallowed grounds. Magnificent. We love every minute spent in this hotel.

Stunning room with comfortable bed, incredible service we felt really looked after by staff who went out of their way to give a great stay, perfect location in the old town so everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, delicious breakfast and wonderful dinner laid on for us on our first night including delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Loved the location at the very center of the historic city. Very beautiful and elegant hotel that cares a lot about all the details such as Ditypique amenities and a musician playing harp at the Saturday breakfast. Amazing gourmet restaurant and beautiful bar .
It is a quiet town to stay in. You must have a car otherwise there is not much to do in the town itself and it is not located by the beach. Gianpaolo bakery was very nice, we bought this amazing semi frozen pistachio cake, was super fresh and delicious.
