Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Staff were very friendly. We had a beautiful little outdoor area outside of our room. There was a nice sitting area inside that was big enough for all four of us.

Loved the location!. Loved the town. Small easy to get around. Not too many tourists...as the other towns. If you are walking the Cinque Terre, then Levanto is the ideal location. You get the train travel at a reduced price as you are just inside the region, the trains are quite regular and quick. Its handy if you want to go further up the coast to Portofino or down the coast to Pisa and beyond.
Its a proper town, so has all the things you need (supermarket, pharmacies etc) unlike the actual Cinque Terre towns which are crowed with day tourists and mostly cater to their needs.
We had a great stay here, lots of choice in restaurants would be more than happy to return if we had the time.

We chose Levanto because we wanted lodging to be in a relatively flat area but as close to the Cinque Terre cities as possible. The town itself is charming with lots of restaurant options. The people we met were friendly and helpful. Given the 5 cities of Cinque Terre, we allowed ourselves 5 nights and 4 full days - probably a day or 2 too long. It was easy to use the hop-on, hop-off boat and get a great view of the cities from the water. Travel to those cities by train was easy but crowded in mid September.

A beautiful walkable city with a beautiful beach and easy access to sunset boat tours and Cinque Terre via train. I recommend Wine at Cantina Dei 1000, sunset boat tour with Costa di Faraggiana, and dinner at Le Due Lune.
Casa Ella was one of the nicest accommodations in the neighborhood, compared to others around it. Space was clean and functional. Wi-Fi was good. Bed was comfortable. Living room was comfortable. We had some trouble finding it, but Laura sent help to guide us. After that, we learned that if you put Casa Ela into Google Maps (instead of the address), it takes you right there! It's high up in the hills above Levanto so if you are seeking peace and quiet, this is the spot for you. If you want to be near the action, then stay down in the city.
Everything was amazing, we received exact instructions on how to announce the accommodation. We wanted to visit Cinque Terre and Ilaria gave us valuable information about what we can do there, but also a pass to be able to park for free in Levanto.
The room we stayed in was all we needed, we also had a small private garden to relax in, parking at the property, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations, everything was fresh and prepared there.
Thank you for everything and if we have the opportunity we will definitely come back.
Excellent apartment. I have travel a lot around the world and stay in hotels and apartments. This is one of the best apartments I have stayed in. Excellent location in the heart of the town, modern yet quaint, clean, good facilities, spacious, good air conditioning , excellent shower and comfortable. The host is very nice and helpful also! I guarantee you will not be disappointed when you book this apartment. I wish there were more apartments like this in Italy. It actually feels like Italy!
Absolutely fabulous. Great location- 1 min walk to beach, 7 min walk to train station, 4 min walk to town centre.
The room is fabulous, big, spacious, comfortable bed, big veranda, wifi great standard.
The host was lovely- she met us to take us to the hotel. She shared lots of helpful information with us about the area.
Lots of poor reviews of breakfast - it is basic and typical Italian and free. It is lovely.
We have spent 4 weeks in Italy and this has been our best hotel.
Thank you.
Very nice hotel, near center as well as train station to cinque terre.
We experienced two ladies at the reception and they were tje most kind and helpfull receptionists i’ve ever met. They resolved every request we had e.g. help with parking ans stroring a suitacse even in the day we did not stay in the hotel. Really very supportive and always helpfull.
Thank you ladies :)
The breakfast was also great ! ;)
The property is easy to reach from the station and well placed for a walk into Levanto. The grounds are nice and breakfast is really good. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, they recommended walks for us and hotels for the evening.
Levanto is a good base for the Cinque Terre as you are at the end of the train line. Plenty of good restaurants in the town and a lot less busy than other villages.
Great location & lots of space especially great when we had some rainy days. Very well equipped kitchen. Whole apt nicely renovated. Very quiet. Levanto feels like a real Italian beach town… Cinque Terre towns felt over-subscribed. You can walk from Levanto to Monterosso but that 1200’ hill was beastly at times - not for the timid.
We loved our stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The view from the terrace is beautiful and we really enjoyed the breakfast. The room was clean and the shower was great. The station of Levanto is around 40 minutes by foot, so having a car is an advantage. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Levanto. Our booking included breakfast which was served at the cafe next door and consisted of cereal with yoghurt, a hot and cold drink, and a choice of a croissant or other pastry. Good communication with the host, and we were able to check in early.
We stopped at Levanto rather unexpectedly and stayed only one night. Levanto is the beginning of Cinque Terre and is a very nice place. The hotel is well located, few minutes walk from the city center and the beach. The room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast was good. The price was fair.
The location was great, near the beach at Levanto, and not far from the railway station for visiting Cinque Terre. It was a big apartment on the third floor with a small sea view but very quaint, typical Italian. Plenty of restaurants, food places and supermarkets near by. Highly recommend.
Air conditioning was great and the equipped kitchenette was perfect for meals inside. 5 minute drive to Levanto and the beach and very good access to Cinque Terre just a couple of kilometers away by train or boat. Check-in/check-out was easy and my kids loved the pool
Hotel Dora was one of our best experiences in Cinque Terre. The apartment was at walking distance from beach and property was spacious, big and comfortable. Also, there is a grocery store right below the apartment which helped us make our stay even more comfortable.
"Simply the best" B&B ever stayed in. All rooms and exterior extensively modernised last summer. Cannot fault a single thing, pool was a welcome cool down after a long drive. Levanto is also a busy Italian resort, a short train ride from the Cinque Terre.
Spacious room, breakfast was included in the price, hotel transfer to Levanto and back to the hotel. Free parking as well. We wanted to have a kettle in the room and the staff organised us a kettle for our stay.
Great quiet location (with views) with good car access to Levanto (for train to the Cinque Terre). Claudia is very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very clean (as new) and comfortable.
Great views and goid access to Levanto trian station to go to Cinque Terre. Nicely designed property with pool, hottub, and outdoor area. Very friendly and attentive staff.
