There are so many places to eat!
There are so many places to eat! The food is excellent pretty much everywhere. The focaccia si to die for and so is the farinata! When visiting Lavagna you can forget about the car and if you wish to visit 5 terre the train is very convenient! Smoking should be banned in all beaches, though!FrancescaGermany - 8.0Scored 8.0

Clean air. Very calm city. Most importantly, you can visit other places while staying in Lavagna, by train or by boat. the food is excellent. Very friendly waiters and owner of the restaurant. Small coastal town with cheaper accommodation than other towns in the area. (ie Portofino). Good rail service. Church of St Stephen is well worth a visit as the interior is spectacular. Not a huge choice of Restaurants but you will not starve!!. Some nice shops.

The apartment itself was in superb condition and the hosts could not be more helpful and friendly with everything you would need to cook, wash or have a quick coffee. I will definitely stay again for a work or pleasure visit in the future. It's a 10/10 from me !!

We were able to go to beach in Lavagna or Sestri Levante, pretty easy, by car. There are very good restaurants in the town. You get very good advices from the owner, where to go to eat, or park the car, etc.
