It's close to Merano (which is much better known and visited), and also fairly touristy, but with the businesses aimed more at cultured tourists rather than mass tourism (not sure if there were any chain hotels there), interested in arts and finer dining. I landed there by very lucky accident (due to problems booking a room in Merano).

I really love that all the furniture was made of wood because everytime you enter a room there is this amazing smell coming from the wood:) beside the location of the hotel is at the center so you can walk around last but not least the owner of the hotel is so kind and friendly.
