The location of the house was ideal in all aspects and it was a perfect getaway for family/friends. The facilities were top notch with a very responsive host. We felt home for the duration of our stay here and had to leave this place with a heavy heart :) If you are looking for a spacious place right in front of the lake ( with a view of Bellagio) for your group along with space for your pet and car, please do not miss this one :)

We stayed in Hotel Bazzoni in May 2024 for 1 night to visit Lake Como. Rooms are good, renovated and in good condition. Rather expensive for such level of hotel, but the location is most convinient. It is 5 min walk to Villa Carlotta and 10 min drive to Villa del Balbianello.

We all loved the place, the location, the awesome view, private balcony with communal terrace and the vibe of the place
I can’t really not mention the absolutely great host who was very welcoming, attending and got out of his way to help us and all the other guests

The hotel was very cozy and well-maintained, it looked even better than in the pictures. We really enjoyed the view of the lake. There’s a beautiful street leading from the hotel to the lake. The staff was very kind and helpful, we’ll definitely be coming back. The price was also great. I think Tremezzo is a great town to stay in to explore Lake Como. It’s beautiful there, and you can get around by boat for a low price.
Offering a large terrace with spectacular views across Lake Como, Albergo Milano is a stylish hotel in the heart of Varenna.

The train system to get to Veranna was efficient and clean. The view from the room was delightful across the lake. Also the views to the villages from the boats are superb.

Beautiful little town on the Lake Como.
Beautiful little town on the Lake Como. Not much to do in the town itself but it’s very well connect to other towns like Bellagio, Menaggio and others.
Quiet, away from tourists, perfect get away and the buzz of other towns is just a quick ferry journey away

Location was just perfect.
Location was just perfect. Very nice pool and cocktail area on the terrace.
Room was nice with a view of the lake. Shower was slightly damaged not good. Breakfast was awful and dinner was very below average. I would recommended eating outside in some very nice restaurants nearby.

Great location away from the tourist crowds.
Great location away from the tourist crowds. We hiked up to the San Martino chapel on advice from proprietors and we’re so glad we did. Stunning views. Corner grocery store had everything we needed.

Poor value for money.
Poor value for money. The hotel benefits from the stunning location it finds itself in, but the service, excluding reception and parkers, should have been at the level required for a Grand Hotel (size of room, junior staff preparation, food)

The trip was incredible, but I wouldn’t recommend going...
The trip was incredible, but I wouldn’t recommend going during the off-season (Nov-Mar). There were almost no restaurants open, and their websites don’t update to show which are open and which are closed. So…lots of figuring things out at the last minute when the first 3-4 restaurants we wanted to try in a given town are actually closed.

The location, views were stunning. The staff were all lovely and friendly. Couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Very close to both lake boat navigation stop in Cadenabbia and also to the C10 bus just outside hotel. Hotel is family run and holds many little Italian nuances. Breakfast had a very good mix from cereals to pastries. Cold meat, Cheese, Eggs, Bread, jams, honey, marmalade, Nutella, juice and course the obligatory coffee from a brand new machine. Perfecto. Thank you for a lovely 10 day holiday.
Great location with fantastic views across Lake Como towards Bellagio. Modern appartments with free car park around the corner and restaurants, cafes, bar and mini supermarket all within 2 minute walk. All the appartments are slightly different layout with the top floor lake view appartments the biggest and best. Helpful staff but checkin is at hotel Bazzoni in Tremezzo, about 15 minute walk away. Griante is a great location with scattered restaurants and cafes along the lake and 15 minute walk to Tremezzo.
The location is beautiful, right on the Como Lake with all rooms having a view of the lake. You need to understand that the closest city is 20 minutes on foot but Menaggio is one of the nicest places the lake so it's worth it. Generally this is a beautiful area, definitely worth visiting. The stuff was super nice and exceptionally helpful, even listing local restaurants and sites. There is a big, free parking on premises. Room was nicely renovated and had a balcony
- Great location and views
- Very good breakfast and personnel
- Amazing swimming pool looking out over the lake and at Bellagio
Even though the pictures are nice, this hotel’s state surprised us positively because everything is in a great state. The view from this side of the lake (and thus from the breakfast area and swimming pool) is simply amazing - and I haven’t found hotels that offer similar value for money around Como.
Couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to stay in lake Como (Cardenabia). It’s a family owned and run hotel. The ferry port is 5 minutes walk and the ferry to lenno ( villa baldinello) is 5 minutes away as well. I’ll recommend eating dinner here because it was scrumptious and a great value for what was offered. The villa grounds are beautiful as well. Breakfast was great and the rooms very spacious
The apartment was well decorated, charming and very clean. Lara was very responsive and helpful to us. We liked her very much. The view from all the rooms was great and we enjoyed the balconies. Lara sent me a lot of helpful information and tips before we arrived which helped us plan our visit to Como. We had a great meal at the Belle Isola restaurant on the ground floor of the building.
I was staying there at the beginning of September. It was in small town, but a ferry connection to Bellagio was convenient. The hotel was good. The room was spacious, although we stayed in the smallest room. I don't know if they upgraded. Breakfast was good and staffs were friendly. The path behind the hotel was good to work. There're are many restaurants in various price ranges.
The owner was very friendly and hospitable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had an amazing view to lake Como. The breakfast terrace is right on the lake and the views are amazing. The location is very close to the Cadenabbia ferry station (it’s also a few minutes drive from the Menaggio station). It was a splendid stay.
I was under the impression I was booking a HOTEL from Priceline and not an apartment from booking.com. There was NO ac which was not advertised either. My husband became Ill overnight due to the heat. The fan provided was disgusting and I have the photos to share.
Table on outdoor balcony, splendid view. Easy walk to ferry, wish we had spent more time exploring upper Griante and hike to St Martin. Was a good base for too short stay in Como. Regret not eating pizza at little bar up the hill, hope there is a next time.
Highly recommended. The owners of the hotel are very kind and hospitable and give a homely feeling. Meals are served at the hotel’s restaurant located on the lake across the road. Arrive at the hotel and Giacomo will already make you feel at home.
The hotel seemed a bit run down, a Grande Dame that had seen better days. Most of the staff was great but there were a few that seemed like they were being put out when you asked them for something. The pool area and garden were great.
The hotel was perfect. The facilities, the bar and restaurant views were incredible. the pool area was stunning, we spent time there each day. The breakfast buffet had everything on offer. Our room was extremely comfortable and quiet.
It's a beautiful and cosy hotel looking directly on the lake. Breakfast was amazing, and the bed was so comfortable. Also, the hotel has a bus stop next to it and ferry boat as well. Hotel owner Sylvia is super helpful and friendly
One of the best places to stay at lake Como!
Very stylish yet cozy apartment next to the ferry pier.
It has everything you need for your perfect Italian vacation:) The host was very helpful and nice.
Location is very good to take taxi boats to other town. Breakfast varieties were great for everyone. Staff was super nice with excellent advise on driving route from Lake Como to Bolzano.
Incredible lake view, a few steps from ferry stop “Cadenabbia-Traghetto”, modern renovation. Excellent value for money - half the price of a comparable 3* hotel.
