Who would have thought to find this amazing refuge after the dodgy, and dark access. A great surprise. Alberto was a genial host, explaining the contents and history of his home. The breakfast was top quality at the long kitchen table, along with a few other travellers.

We had a wonderful time and the Hotel really made us feel welcomed. We didn't intend to book a hotel with no wifi but it turned out to make the 3 days we spent that much more special as we explored the area. There is wifi in the restaurants in town and Susa has great signage to get to all the wonderful ruins. The mountains are all around you and the French Alp towns are very close for a day trip.

It is a big apartment with beautiful views of mountains. The host family is very friendly. It is in a quiet area only 5 minutes from Susa. It is a good base for trips to Rocciamelone and to Fenestrelle Pass, and for other trips in Susa Valley.
