The views around the castle are very impressive. The buffet breakfast was typically Italian, so don't expect bacon and eggs. But the croissants and breakfast pastries were absolutely divine, down to the patisserie cream in little jars!! Fresh and stewed fruits, juice, cereals, toast, and even a charcuterie board. I detest UHT milk, so was disappointed this was used to make the cappuccinos. Breakfast on the upper terrace, overlooking the valley below was a marvelous experience. It was too cold to use the infinity pool, but the area looked extremely inviting should it be a hot day. Strolling through the many rooms of the castle was an absolute treat...the decor is very tasteful. The grounds were well manicured with plenty of comfy seating areas.

Amazing and beautiful place. Giuseppe is very kind and pleasant - he showed us the property and attended us in in breakfast and dinner. The dinner in the castel was amazing with a fair price. This is an amazing and different experience!!!

I've stayed at the Barbieri twice before and I had a room with a balcony and a view of the Old Town. This time I was given a room with no view. The staff were kind enough to move me to a room with a window which had a partial view of the Old Town. The Barbieri's closeness to town is a real plus.

Great place. The owners are great… very kind, polite and attentive!!!! Simply loved the experience in a calm place, distant from the big and noisy cities!!!! The food & wine tasting was amazing!!!! The room was great and clear… very comfortable!!!! The breakfast was great as well!!!
